I did wear it all day (very comfortable), but now wear the support every other day. Brilliant .

This was a complete waste of money. There is nothing in the product description to indicate that this item is non-returnable, and unfortunately I was in a rush and did not stop to look at the reviews. That was a $70 mistake. The brace straps are complicated and impossible to put on without help. Once I finally got it figured out, I found that the brace was four inches too long for my back - either I can't sit down because it's too low on my hips, or I have a hump on my neck from the top of the brace being too high on my back. Either way it is not good. It definitely does not lie flat under clothing. It's uncomfortable - it felt like I was wearing a backpack and a corset at the same time. It did make my back feel somewhat better while I had it on, but I need something I can wear to help with back pain while I am working - I need to be able to bend, sit, and move around with the brace on. This brace will not work for that purpose. If I'd known I couldn't return it I would never have bought it. 0/10 do not recommend.

Well this is my second review because I had to purchase another brace. ONLY because the straps that go under your arms run small. I wore the first one for quite some time, but couldn't take the straps any longer. They were cutting under my arms just too much. This is the only issue I have with the brace. Now because my back has gotten much worse, I have to wear the brace all the time, so I ordered another one but the next size up. Straps feel great now. The quality of the brace is extremely well made.I just received this yesterday and tried it this morning while walking. I'm 53 and have numerous spine issues, (fusion, degeneration of spine, spinal curvature). This helped tremendously while I was walking. It gives me superior back support. The extra (removable) padding for the lower spine feels wonderful. Will say they run a little on the small size. So if you are not use to lots of pressure on your stomach, I would say get a larger size. I do not carry my weight in my stomach area, but in the hip/thigh area, but was still tight on my waist. The only other issue that I have, that will probably just be some getting use to is the straps that go under your arms. They rub! However, I am sure there is something I can come up with that will be more comfortable for me. All in all, this brace did exactly what I needed it to.

I don't normally write reviews, however as this isn't that cheap and its difficult choice deciding which brace is suitable, I've decided to add my experience.I have a medium level of Kyphosis which I've inherited from my father and is gradually getting worst, to the point now, when i lay on my back my head didn't touch the ground anymore. The fact that it was getting worse and I was starting to get a bit of back aching made me try a back brace. I'm under no illusions that at the age of 43 a brace won't straighten my back, but i'm hoping it will prevent the curvature getting worse or even improve it a bit.As an engineer I have a job that requires me to spend time at a keyboard with the usual bad posture and i have active times as well, bending and climbing under machines. So if i'm to wear it at work it has to be flexible but firm if that's possible. The first one i tried was the"DELUXE FULL BACK POSTURE CORRECTIVE BRACE". This one is flexible, it has the usual issues with the straps hurting under the arms, however the first time a jumped into my car after putting this on, i was amazed, I needed to re-adjust my mirrors and my head contacted the head rest for the first time in years. As the first brace was quite flexible, I looked at this brace as a second one to wear whilst the other was in the wash. This brace has different 2 rods down the back which you can change, the first type is flexible plastic and the other rods ares steel which still flexes a bit. I'm currently wearing it with the steel rods which made me re-adjust my car driving position again and i also had to move my head rest back a bit. I'm now sitting in a good more upright position. The fit is good for me and the arm straps come with padding which is better than the first brace. Also your arms seem to get used to the straps with time. It also has enough flex, even with the steel rods, to allow me to carry out my work. However with both braces they irritate my skin, causing itching and are just uncomfy. Reading on the net, wearing a T-shirt between you and the brace helps a lot, and it does help with the under arms (still need padding) and fix the skin irritation. The problem I found with a T-shirt is the brace and T-shirt ride up your back when bending. Also I found that the T-shirt has to be lightweight else you will rather hot in summer wearing, in effect 2 tops and a back brace. As a top layer I usually wear ether a work T-shirt or formal shirt. As my job can be active, bending and reaching etc, then going to the loo every 15 mins to pull down the T-shirt and brace was a real pain. If your just standing, sitting or just not bending I found the brace tends to be fine with just a T-shirt underneath. After some googling and talking with my wife, the solution we came to was a T-shirt type bodysuit, not many out there for men, however we found an online shop in the UK were the bodysuit was designed for men like a normal lightweight T-shirt and these work a treat on me. The T-shirt can't ride up and therefore it tends to help keep the brace in place for quite some time. To the loo maybe twice a day now for re-adjustment.I normally wear a brace all night (usually wear the first brace at night as this is a bit more comfy) and this brace all the working day, taking it of for 5 or 6 hours or so in the evening. I also complement the brace with some yoga exercise. So after some experimenting I think its about as comfy as its ever going to be.So is to worth it? I would say a resounding yes. I've seen good improvement in posture and my head now just gets to the ground when flat on my back!Over one year on!Still wearing the same brace virtually every day, sewn the the pads into position, to stop them sliding during the day, only sewn at the top as the straps stretch. Its not really showing signs of wear. My back is as good as its going to get and not getting worse so really happy.

This posture brace is easy to put on and wear, and it fits very securely. I like the wrap-around elastic and the fact that the stays are optional, according to your specific needs. (I need them.)Sometimes the straps irritate around the front of my underarms, but I suppose some of that is to be expected from a product that is designed to force your shoulders back and into proper position. The padding helps ease the irritation, to some extent. The brace definitely helps maintain good posture, and holds the back into alignment to ease tension if you've strained the muscles. It provides reassuring firmness around the midsection and back and helps you stand straight. Fits well under clothes if you need to wear it out.I'd definitely buy it again. If you're trying to choose between two sizes, opt for the larger one - it fits very snugly around the midsection, so if it's too small, it'll suffocate you.

I have used this brace almost every day since it arrived about one month ago.The reason I purchased it is that, after experiencing significant pain following certain activities (sitting for long periods of time at the computer or running long distance), I sought medical attention and discovered from X-rays that my spine is abnormally curved. The curve is not extreme enough to be diagnosed as scoliosis, but it is sufficiently abnormal to cause pain. Have I noticed any changes in my body since I began using the brace? Absolutely. I am in far less pain at the end of the day when I wear the brace. Before receiving the brace, I took pain medicine most nights because my shoulders, neck, chest, and back were causing me agony. I haven't used pain medicine since beginning to wear the brace. My back aches in a different way when I wear the brace, which I suspect is due to improved alignment of my spine and a resulting change in the way the muscles around the spine are being used. However, this ache is minor compared to the pain I experienced prior to using the brace. I have also not gone to a chiropractor or massage therapist in desperation for pain relief since I began using the brace. As a result, I am enjoying less financial strain along with less upper body pain.Except for the fit of the straps near my arm pits, the brace is comfortable. Sometimes I actually cross the straps in front of my neck rather than at back of my neck as instructed. This alleviates some of the discomfort in the arm pit area, but still stabilizes my spine. I usually choose not to wear the brace under clothes when I am out of the house because it is a bit bulky and makes my body look weird. However, I almost always wear the brace while going about my studies or chores. Typically, I wear the brace over my clothes. The only issue I have with this is that I don't like to pull my pants up over the brace. When I dress first and then put the brace on, the fit isn't a problem. The problem arises when I have to use the restroom. Trying to pull my pants up when I am wearing the brace, I cannot really get the waist under the brace as high as I would like. I end up wearing them very low on my waist, just pulling the pants up over the brace (which I don't prefer), or having to remove the brace entirely. It's only a minor nuisance--I would buy this brace again in a heartbeat. I am grateful to have found a product that improves the quality of my life.
