We use magnets to clean up yard and driveway after work has been done or around work dumpster to prevent nails or debris from causing harm. My Grandson wanted one of his own. This is Super Powerful, and we put a rope on it just his size. Kids love magnets!

This puppy is strong enough that you need to be careful about holding it near metal objects. A little indoor testing was enough to show how effective it is and I can't wait to take it out in the water and find...ok, probably a bunch of junk, but it will be fun and I won't have to gut it, cook it, or mess with worms.

This magnet is very strong as advertised. Don't get your finger between the magnet and metal because it will pinch hard! It was easy to put together. The loop screws in deep and solid so it won't come undone. This magnet will work great for magnet fishing, and it was reasonable priced.

This is a fishing magnet. It states it is a rare earth magnet that can lift 330 lbs. It is 2 inches with a countersunk hole eyebolt in it. This is great because you can attach this magnet easily to a rope or wire. I do not go magnet fishing, but I love to have magnets and I like it that it has an eyebolt so it is easy to use for many applications. This is very strong, but I have no way of testing 330 lb accurately. I am currently using this magnet on the side of my natural gas heater because my heater does not have a handle. I am able to grab the eyebolt and lift the heater to where it needs to be. When winter is over, I intend to use this to hold up tools in The Tool Room. This is a good quality magnet and a great value!

This magnet is pretty powerful, and can move a lot of weight. I am however not sure it could really life the claimed 330lbs, as that is a whole lot of weight, and I cant lift that by myself without hurting something. I think it would be great for finding lost screws/hardware though, which is what I got it for.

The magnet arrived in a plastic case, which is handy. You'll have to screw the eye hook onto it, which is simple. The eye hook will need to be unscrewed to put it back into the case. Both pieces have a mirror-like silvery finish. It's supposed to be able to hold 150 pounds, which I'm unable to verify (I can't even lift 150 pounds myself), but it grabs up everything magnetic that I've tested. It snatched my scissors up (LOL!) and I had to really pull to separate them. I got this as a gift for my husband. I'm sure he'll be very pleased with it, and will find lots of uses for it, including "fishing" with it.
