On the strength of their extremely versatile and accurate and inexpensive setup blocks I decided to see if this triangle was just as awesome.Allow me to preface this by saying that I use this type of measuring/marking tool frequently. So much so that it stays in my apron. I presently own an iGauging triangle. It is a fine device as well but, unfortunately, a bit rough on my leather apron. The triangle is very thin and therefore very sharp and unfortunately tears up the apron pocket. By contrast, the triangle of this product is 1/4" thick. As a result it slips in and out of the pocket easily. The markings are accurate based on comparison to several measurement tools including dial calipers, Starrett squares, and the iGauging triangle. The bottom of the triangle provides the very useful offset base (1/4" and 3/8") to all easy marking on 3/4" stock. The bottom side of the triangle provides both imperial and metric markings. The triangle includes holes for pins (2 are included) to mark standard angles. The backside of the triangle provides marking that wrap around from the measurement on the face of the triangle. Overall it provides a variety of useful and practical measuring/marking features. In a few ways it is better than my iGauging triangle which is now retired. Finally, the triangle comes in a nice soft plastic case and includes the pins, a 0.9mm mechanical pencil, and lead. This triangle fits my needs better than the iGauging triangle -- again a very fine triangle.

Been testing a bunch of these little squares. Compared the the over priced “red” ones these are all just as good, and in most cases all these lesser expensive one have more features and extras (pencils and such)This particular one the main blade is a good bit thicker than nearly all the others. This is a good/bad thing. It is stronger, less likely to get bent, has enough surface area so the edges have extra measurements/markings, but the extra thickness makes using a pencil or such item a little odd as it can kick it out. Easy to counter but you have to think about it. Will say this one lately has become my go to mini square!

Very pleasantly surprised with this tool. It's build quality, finish, legibility, and most of all it's accuracy is AWESOME! I'm a stickler for squares actually being square and this Neitra surpasses all expectations without question! The body of the square, to include it's thickness of 1/4" is pretty much on target all over the square to within .001/.002". The board edge marking feature of 1/4" and 3/8" are SPOT ON!. Everything seems to be toleranced very well all over this thing. Plus, a free pencil, lead, and angle pins! What more can you ask? WOW!I own a Milwaukee 4" square that PALES in comparison to this Neitra. Compared to the Neitra, the Milwaukee is pure JUNK! The Milwaukee is so out of square and even after I jigged it up to sand it to square, I just couldn't get it right. Unfortunately, I don't own a milling machine and if I did, that's exactly what I would need to fix this terrible Milwaukee. I told myself that if this Neitra was any good, the Milwaukee would get trashed. Well, the Milwaukee is now in my trash can! Good riddance!I purchased the Neitra mainly for setting my tablesaw blade to 45/90 degree settings. I haven't used it for that yet, but by the looks of it, it should work out great. lf you're looking at this Neitra and thinking about it... don't think... JUST BUY IT! It's a 5 star product for sure!
