I've been shooting with the Neewer Magnetic Action Camera Mount Kit, and it's one of the most convenient mounts I’ve tried. The strong magnets make it super quick and easy to release, saving time when swapping setups. The 1/4" base mount is a great addition for cameras that lack a screw mount. The Neewer Magnetic Action Camera Mount Kit has been a practical tool for capturing POV shots with my GoPro. The magnetic quick-release system makes it easy to attach and detach the camera, which is great for switching between angles quickly. I’ve used it for biking, hiking, and even around the house for DIY projects, and it holds the camera securely without any wobbling. The compatibility with multiple action cameras, like the DJI Osmo Action and Insta360, is a nice bonus, as it means I can use it with different devices. This magnetic action camera mount is a convenient option for quick gear changes, but it has a few drawbacks. The magnets are strong and provide a secure hold for my GoPro, making swapping between mounts fast and easy. The locking mechanism adds extra security, though it can be tricky to operate one-handed. However, the mount is bulky and less suitable for setups requiring a low-profile attachment, like on bicycle helmets. The inability to purchase specific mount types without buying the full kit adds unnecessary cost. While functional and well-made, it’s not the most versatile option for all setups.

Great assortment of mounts for your action style camera. I use mine with my DJI Action 5 Pro and my Osmo Pocket 3. The quick release system makes it great to change things up for different mounting options. Another high quality product from Neewer.

I am using this Neewer quick release mount with my Insta360 Go 3S and my OSMO Pocket 3. It is perfect for those situations where I am using a tripod/stand and I need need to switch between the tripod and handheld. The combination of magnetic and twist lock keeps the camera in position and secure when on the tripod but it allows a quick and easy method to take it off when I need to go hand held. As others have mentioned it would be great if you could purchase additional attachments sans base to keep on multiple cameras. Neewer continues to impress me with their products and this is another quality items from them.

Constructed primarily of plastic components, the use of embedded magnets makes these mini 1/4-20 and GoPro mounts a little more unique. Initially, I wasn't sure how necessary the magnets were, as attaching the mount to the base still requires a turn and lock mechanism. Turn-and-lock certainly feels more secure and foolproof than relying on magnetics alone to join the pieces together, so what purpose do the magnets really serve? Mainly, it helps ensure you don't drop the pieces in the process of attaching them together, which seems like an excessive solution to a simple problem, but I'm sure the feature will come in handy if you're trying to attach things in the dark or when your manual dexterity is compromised due to the cold (or wearing gloves due to the cold). All that aside, the construction and materials are of decent quality and the locking mechanism seems robust enough to hold up to repeated use, though some may ultimately prefer to see more metal in the mix.

Love this innovative and convenient set of Neewer Action Camera Mounts!Pros: -Kit comes with 2 tripod magnetic bases, 2 finger mount bases, 1 magnetic adapter with a thumb screw and 1 magnetic adapter with a 1/4" screw & 180° tilt. That's enough hardware to equip several cameras at the same time.-Durably made featuring a bright red spring lock and a clever release mechanism. To remove a camera, unlock the mount, twist and pull it away from the base magnetic force. The magnetic system prevents accidental drops of the camera when releasing or remounting it.-Remounting is easy as the magnetic force of the base pulls and holds the camera in. A simple twist and audible "click" completes the process.-All components are quality and precision made from the dial locking mechanism to the 180 degree tilt and locking knobs.Cons: I would prefer a storage sack for the extra hardware be included in the kit.Bottom Line: The best feature of these mounts is that they are super handy. Instead of spending a lot of time screwing bases on/off my camera and loosing thumb screws, I can leave them on and installation/removal from my mono/tripod takes a few seconds. This is a great set especially if you use multiple action cams in addition to small vlogging cameras.

This is a fantastic set of mounts. I’m using them with a GoPro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The magnet is incredibly powerful, providing a rock-solid grip on various surfaces.This kit includes multiple mounts so it really does cover a variety of types of cameras.The quality if very good. Nothing feels cheap. Everything moves easily.It is the ability to swap gear super easily and quickly that makes me like it so much. I really like to use a tripod when filming. The time it takes so remove one camera and attach another doesn’t seem like a lot until you are doing it. Being able to swap in seconds really makes a difference.One other thing is how portable this is. It is super easy to have in my camera bag. It takes up such little space and doesn’t add much weight.
