I have been impressed with Newwer quality and this piece of equipment does not sway from that expectation. It is a simple, yet complete and highly versatile, addition to my flash inventory that does not require much storage space. As with all lighting setups, it requires a little "dialing in" with the flash settings but when you get it right, it provides a beautifully diffusion that compliments your subject.

Great value for the money and a great addition to the strobe.

First, I'm not a pro photographer and I mostly take wildlife pictures. I have been trying to improve my portrait photography of my family. I have been experimenting with on and off camera flash and with different budget softbox and diffusers. This Neweer CRS6 Softbox Diffusion Dome kit comes with different adapter to allow you to attach it to your flash. I’m using a Flashpoint Zoom Li-on flash. The square head fits my flash without any issues. The Neewer CRS6 Softbox Diffusion Dome is very soft and flexible allowing you to shape it in different ways but honestly, I didn’t notice any difference in use. The Neewer CRS6 Softbox Diffusion Dome does soften the light but at the expensive of flash power. The weight of the Neweer Dome and square head adapter is about 12.5 oz. The added weight no longer allowed me to adjust the flash head. I can either point the flash forward or straight up. The square head adapter does have a tripod slot along with a cold shoe.I’m still learning flash photography so I can’t really comment on how well it works. This Neewer CRS6 Softbox Diffusion Dome does cost less than the competitors so it’s worth a try at least.

It's an alright diffusion dome. This fit's a very specific type of need. It's not going to take the place of even a small soft box, but it does well enough for what it is. There is still a slight concentration of light in the front vs a nice even diffusion, but that's to be expected. If you need something quick compact and portable, this might work for you. But if you aren't in need of all of that, Id still recommend a small dome or octo.

easy to use and fits multiple speedlights that i own. Great to soften your lght just a bit more than the extremely small domes that usually come with these speedlights.

This modifier does what it claims, and it works great for macro flash. The components are all made well and feel solid. The mounting options are pretty diverse as well. Do note that the adapter that looks like a mini bowens mount doesn’t fit either godox or smallrig lights. It might fit the godox round head magnetic mount but I don’t have one of those to test. The one con I noticed is that I thought the diffuser mounted magnetically to the adapters but it doesn’t. Instead there is a groove in the ring on all the adapters that you stretch the diffuser over. It comes with a magnetic adapter but that can’t be used with the other adapters in the set.Overall this is a good quality kit and works well at a very reasonable price point.

I love that this comes with three different ways to attach this to your flash, so it’s sure to work in most scenarios. I also love that it compresses in half to make carrying it easier. It works great and really tones down the direct light. Oh, and the price is great as well.

The Neewer V2 is an amazon flash, but unless you have bulky diffusers most of the time your pictures still look like flash photography. This diffuser is portable and is a game changer with flash photography. I'm a full time filmmaker and occasional photographer.I have the Gary Phong diffuser for my old, old, old Canon flash and it made world world of difference. Now this one I had the first picture at 1/125, ISO 200 a2.8 @50mm. Flash was at 1/128 the second one I had to increase flash to 1/32I still got some shadows on my model's chin but the skin tones and the natural ambiance was completely different.Granted, it is not a plug and play device but in my opinion a must have.
