Comes with a delightful velcro opening sleeve. Works great, batteries havent been swapped in over 300 photos and charge times haven't lowered significantly either. Great adjustability and can lower the flash to be very dim, or extremely bright. Would recommend.

I left the old review in place... there was problem with the battery door and Neewer replaced my item for one that worked, When comparing the two items side by side they were identical with the exception of the interior side of the battery door. two different items. So I had a lot of good to say about the flash and I like it even better now that it will hold battery's. So I have to give them five stars across the board. and excellent product that had a problem and thanks to the great customer service it was replaced and I am very happy.. I'm in sales and we move a lot of product, and sell enough items and there is bound to be a problem with something at some time. The only leg a company really has to stand on at that point is customer service and how well they take care of there customers when the inevitable happens and Neewer took care of me.. Based on that and usability of the product I say BUY. You'll be happy..Great flash, works great with one minor problem (huge problem). I had this set up and used it and had it in my bag.. took it out of it' case and the battery's fell out. The battery door will no longer close and stay locked with battery's in it. take the battery's out and it kind of closes but is fairly easy to pop open. I gave it one star for the quality of materials and design, and a second star because other than that I really like the flash. I'm tempted to solve the problem with duct tape (because I'm a guy) because I really do like the flash BUT I'm of the opinion that something as basic as a battery door on a flash, and important item in the photography world should work.. why is such a basic feature even an issue on a flash? going to try some different battery's and if it's just an issue with my current battery I will come back and revise this review but as for now? NOPE, Buyer beware...Maybe AA batteries are different where this was manufactured BUT so far American AA batteries are a no go? we will see...

Though I was a bit sceptical about this being the full equivalent for Nikon Speedlites, when I started using it, I found the claim absolutely true. It is in no way inferior. It is well made, and performs extremely well. Full value for money. I shot nearly 100 pictures in a show of orchids and every one of them came out superbly, no matter as a closeup or a distant view.

I considered a few third party flashes, chose this because I liked the price and I am glad I did. I wanted to have ITTL for my Nikons d200 and d5100. It works great. I find it very easy to operate. Manual sometimes a little hard to follow but it's not that bad as I expected from reading some reviews. My main excitement is slave modes S1 ans S2. It's pretty simple: S1 is for manual and S2 is for TTL master flash. Works really well for my both cameras. I didn't use the MULTI flash mode yet, but everything else works great for me.The build quality is very decent, I can move head vertically and horizontally. To be honest I don't see any reason for spending $300-500 for Nikon flash if I can have so much for a little over $50.The only thing - I still can't find a way to adjust ISO setting in Manual mode, maybe it wouldn't let me. In ITTL it does all automatically, but all in all-it's a great flash and fantastic value. I would not hesitate to buy another one if I need.Well, 6 month later the flash stopped working. Display is working, numbers responding to any changes I do in the camera, except one thing- it does not fire. Even when flash is not mounted on the camera and after I press the test button-does not fire. I changed the batteries, tried everything I could- no luck.Amazon is amazing, they replaced my broken flash with the new one. I am gonna give 5 stars again, but 4 of them go to Amazon

EDIT I have been using this flash for a little while now, and I really like it. I just got a second one that came today, now I have 2 of these to use off camera and I just trigger them with the flash that is built into my camera. my only complaint is the first one came with a really nice padded carrying case, the second one came with a flimsy bag to store the flash in. I was expecting the second to come with a nice carrying case as well.If anyone is wondering how durable these are ( maybe I am just lucky ) I dropped the first flash that I bought a little while ago and it hit the ground hard, its still working, after it hit the ground it would not turn on at first because the impact bent the prongs that make contact with the battery, I got a screwdriver down inside and bent the prongs back and the battery's made good contact again, after doing that the flash turns on and functions perfectly and its been working great. it seems these are pretty durable and can take a hit or like I said maybe I was just lucky. it was up on my stand and I forgot to lock the flash onto the mount and when i moved the stand it just fell off and it was probably a good 6 foot drop.over all I am sill very happy with this product, I do wish the second one would have came with a nice carrying case like the first one did but I am still going to say these are well worth the money and its definitely a product that does what I need it to do---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------got the VK750 II last night , i only played with this for a few minutes and i am sure some of the other settings might come in handy, ill read the instructions today and see what all this can do. but last night i just slapped it on and it worked, pictures with a flash now look the way the should with out changing any settings on the flash or knowing how to use the flash. pics look so much better than they do with the stock flash on my D5300 in my how where light is often low.i started playing with the angle of the flash and the card and i guess that is a defuser that slides out but did not notice a huge difference, than i decided to hit the left and right button and i see that it changed how bright the flash fired, and i could make pictures look even better turned down one or two notches or i could make them look lousy if i turned it down to far.. i am sure there are quite a few more settings i can play with and what not but right out of the box with no clue how to use this thing i am a happy camper.as long as it is a quality product and last for a while i think i will be really happy with this. i cant compare it to the nikon speed light or any other brand but i cant imagine they wold work much better than this one does. the couple reviews i watched on youtube said this was basically just as good a really expensive nikon speed light. i cant imagine needing anything better than this, as long as it does not crap out on me any time soon. for the price you cant really go wrong i don't think, i have never heard of this brand before so i have not idea how long it will last but according the reviews it is a good flash and i am going to agree so far, but only time will tell.
