Even though it shows the supported products, please ensure that the camera or Gimbal is able to take S2 shutter. This one doesn't fit properly, and is quite loose. Not sure if its the cable at fault or the Gimbal

I use these cables for various remote camera setups using Sony bodies and they work great. I have three of them and the quality is consistent among all of them. There are similar cables sold by other brands for double and sometimes triple the price with no perceivable increase in quality or function which makes these a great value.

I searched "FX30 shutter release cable" and this popped up so I added it to cart, and today I plugged it in and learned not to trust Amazon search results. I looked into it and the FX30 isn't on the supported camera list, so it's no fault of NEEWER.PROS: It's cheap and the build quality feels decent.CONS: The coiled cable is very stiff. It might get better after stretching it out but I didn't check to see since I'll be returning it.

Need for a wireless remote that could also be wired.Build quality is OK and tested on my Sony A7iii, A7R3 and A7R5 cameras... all worked perfectly.At 8.79 (November 2023), yes it works, but maybe a tad expensive.Rating 4* based on quality and price.

This cable works perfectly on the Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTi using a Sony A7 III.
