I have grown to expect, and receive, excellent products from Neewer. They have worked their way into the top echelon area of photography equipment as the years pass.This ring light definitely falls into that category. It all comes very neatly and securely packed in a case with fitted foam for all of the components. The case unzips completely and has a handle for easy carry.The light is solidly made and the controls allow you to set the color temperature and the brightness using a digital display controller that is attached to the light. That controller plugs into a power source using a USB-C cable and the kit includes a wall adapter.There are a bunch of preset modes included that vary different things like flashing at different patterns or intensities. I personally don't see how or why you would use them, but probably because I'm not a blogger/tiktoker, etc.Also included is a tripod and the hardware to connect the ring light to the tripod, or your own tripod. And of course, there is a flexible phone holder that attaches to the center of the ring. It holds your phone or device using a pinch clamp, similar to a car dash mount holder.The only thing I would have liked to have would be if the controller had a rechargeable battery in it so that it could be used without the plug. It would allow a little more flexibility. But, this can be overcome by plugging it into a battery bank.If you are looking for a high quality ring light kit, you should be looking at this. Not only does it have (almost) everything you need, Neewer has a reputation of being a quality brand. I started using them when they were a knock-off brand - they have grown up a lot.

This is a high quality, stand. It's very sturdy and the light is very bright. I have no complaints and enjoy it's functions.

I purchased this ring light setup for my son who does remote schooling and needs to be on Microsoft Teams throughout his school day. His room doesn't have a regular dome light, so we use lamps and what not to brighten the room, but it wasn't bright enough for his needs.We mounted a webcam on to the ring light and it stands in front of his desk to his teacher can see him nicely lit up. It works great and because its Neewer, I know I bought a quality product.

This round light stand by NEEWER has become the perfect setup for my selfies and product photography. It is sturdy enough on a smooth surface, but not entirely as stable as I would like on a carpet, and certainly not designed for outdoor use since it is not rechargeable, but requires plugging into a charging block.The light unit itself screws onto the pole which is in turn attached to the base. The buttons on the unit are very responsive, and it also comes with a bluetooth remote control, which works better, and an initial battery is included.It uses a standard DC 12V connection block for a power supply which is included, so that is good. The phone mount is not as tight as I would like but it's easy enough to slide your mobile device in (for phones only, not large enough for tablets), and will still remain secure whether you have it face-down over products, or face-up for selfies or video vlogging, etc.Overall, it has a lot of features and special lighting effects that will benefit influencers, but I do wish it was rechargeable. Still, all-in-all, a great product. 4 stars.

I like the size and price. My girls had a larger one years ago but an influencer has a code for a discount then(I’m not paying that much now in this economy) So, this was a great second choice. They love it! I love the brand.

This NEEWER 24 watt ring light is well made. From the tripod to the light to the control we can fine tune the light for videos or photography. We make some macro videos and photos and this product delivers the features we need to have consistent lighting for the subjects we film.We can angle the camera and light together almost vertically to our exact needs. The tripod is solid and keeps everything still.The control comes with 12 preset light scenes so we can consistently deliver the same light across multiple subjects that we are filming.The 24 watt power system provides stable and flicker free light.Highly recommended

I’ve purchased other light rings that have crappy tri-pods and rings that a cheap. This one is opposite. Everything about it down to its case is good.

I bought this light to replace my Neewer 18" version and it is fantastic! Lightweight and easier to handle than the larger one and gives plenty of light for my photography. It has a CRi>97+ rating for true color. The controller lets you go up or down gradually changing the brightness and/or light color. Highly recommend it!

This product is amazing! Super bright and not too big! I never write reviews but this product blew my mind honestly. For how much it costs it’s definitely worth it and it’s definitely sturdier than other ones i’ve seen.

UPDATED REVIEW: It's a very nice ring light, very streamlined and a perfect size, but the first one had an issue where it would turn itself off sometimes while in use. The company reached out and offered to send me a replacement, which I received, and it doesn't have the problem. So, I've revised my review to 5 stars.OLD REVIEW: It's a nice, streamlined ring light, but, for some reason it has turned itself off a few times, or sometimes it will turn off then on again a few times in a row. Not sure if I got a defective unit or if this is a problem with all of them, but, unfortunately the problem didn't arise until after it was too late to return it.
