I would love to enjoy this but the product is missing a part to allow adjustment to raise the stand rod. Unless I hear back, sadly the item will need to be returned.

This light has been so clutch to really brighten up my home office! I love that I can change the light modes, and even make it brighter with a click of a button. I'm not sure if there are less costly ring lights around, but I wouldn't pay less for less! The best thing: there is No tripod, but a stable base so it can sit anywhere!

Nothing to the setup. It’s sturdier than you might expect. Doesn’t take up much space in tight confines. Multiple color settings (cool vs warm) and can be dimmed enough to be a general desk-area light if your home office is in the bedroom and you work while your partner sleeps. Very much worth it!

It’s like a real piece of solid desk furniture. It’s got a solid metal base, not falling apart or slipping constantly, provides good even light so that even if it’s the only light source my videos still look well lit. The phone holder is also good quality, holds well, goose neck is sturdy, honestly the only thing that would improve this would be if it had a normal outlet instead of the stupid USB plug everything has nowadays. But I guess that gives it points for portability (though it is heavy — not something you could take in your purse and it doesn’t break down well). This is a great office staple.

This is one of those devices that you didn’t know you needed until you got it. This ring light has three separate tone settings which really do change the video image that I tested with my phone. As well the intensity of the light is easily changed with the switch for brighter or darker on each light tone setting. The cord that comes with the light is six feet long and plugs into a USBA block which is not included. The light stands approximately 25 inches high and would be suited for sitting on a desk rather than on the floor. The pole does telescope so it can be moved up and down about 8 inches. I found the phone mount to be a little tricky to attach to the pole however once I got it secured it stayed secured and the phone did not move. There are two small clips that come with the light which do not have an explanation in the instructions and are circular shaped with little balls on the end that I have no idea what they’re for. They came in a separate little package with the light but are not described in the parts list or instructions so for right now I’ll hang on to them to see what it is they actually might do but at this point I do not know. The weight of the base is substantial enough that I have no concerns about it falling over. The light itself pivots 360 degrees in the stand so that it is easy to illuminate something that might be in a different position. I will probably use this for video calls to improve the overall lighting in the room. People often obsess over the camera they should buy for streaming, or video conference calls or starting their own channel on YouTube. However, the most common advice for beginners you'll get from experts in photography and various social media platforms is to use your phone because it has a great camera already and if you want better sound, get a lavalier mic because they're incredibly cheap and yet good at the job.This is one of those budget upgrade options you can make that could make a big difference to your video quality, by giving more light to either your phone or your webcam. Video isn't as important as sound quality but this light has multiple modes controlled by an on cable control. You've got three temperature range settings from up to 6000 K, and you can control brightness over ten levels as well. It all runs off a Type-A USB cable which is at least a metre and a half long giving you plenty of options to locate it.The lightbulb itself is a ring light, and wide enough that you could take photos through it from the back if you were trying to do a product photo. It's tall enough to be higher than your laptop screen but it wouldn't get the light above your monitor especially if it's mounted as it should be on an arm. Then again, if it were that tall it would be a bit ludicrous and would need a huge footprint to remain stable. The height is adjustable with a simple collar lock. You can also tilt the ring light and turn it left and right so positioning is pretty good.Finally it comes with a mount which offers a standard tripod screw thread meaning you could mount a lot of cameras or webcams to it, and also a phone clamp that can screw to it. If you've already got a webcam or are getting one because you've finally realised that no-one wants to see the view from your laptop camera up your nostrils and you'd like a camera that isn't awful, this is a good option. But it's still going to give you better results if you use the even more powerful camera on your phone of course.For the price you're getting a good quality light, a camera/phone mount, enough height and positioning to use this as a solution on most desks. This is a great upgrade option.

Good for our intended use, which is photographing objects to sell on eBay or other venues. However, it is difficult to adjust our iPhone properly in the phone holder so that the image is clear and the camera button is accessible. A smaller phone would work better.

This desk light has been a game changer when I video chat on my laptop. You have the choice of 3 lighting modes. The stand is height adjustable and can be attached to your smartphone as well. I like that the light swivels, letting you focus the lighting desired.Quality workmanship, I haven't experienced any drawbacks.

The actual LED ring is much the same as others, but what's nice about this one is the ability to rotate the ring to adjust for your position vs the ring's or to have the light 'bounce' off a white wall.Most of the alternatives also want to plonk the phone in the middle of the ring and with the size of many smartphones, that often doesn't go well. It may be a side effect of the rotatable ring meaning they can't do that, but this one has much more choice about where you have it.Combined with the standard screw fitting meaning you can use most tripods or grips rather than this one's base, and it's the definite one I am keeping.
