My husband is 6‘5“ and our previous showerhead fit perfectly. However, I wanted to buy a water softener device for the shower, which resulted in our shower head being too short for him. This device was a game changer! It was very easy to install, looks good, and even more functional than our previous showerhead. I even bought another one for our guest shower.

Provides 10 inches of height increase. I chose the brushed nickel finish and I'm happy with it. Some have mentioned the thickness of the metal, but I find that is the same as expensive name brand pipe. Quick installation with teflon tape included. I would recommend if your shower head is too low.

Fits decent and functions well but the end that goes in the wall would be better if it was 1-2 inches longer. With the echelon installed it's hits the bend due to how recessed the outlet for alot of older showers are installed.

it is an S shape and the only issue I have is that my shower wall comes out 2 inches from the actual wall, so we had to place an extender and unfortunately, we didn't find a shiny chrome one only brass but, it still looks great with the water filter ordered and the new shower headsets. I will review those soon. if you have no issue with a fiberglass shower wall then it'll be perfect. I'm getting my garden tub out soon and so this is only temporary because then my stone will be up against the wall and no issues should occur with the extender. I recommend this item if you know your shower wall won't get in the way and if you know how to place an extender from wall to shower wall.

I needed to raise the height of the shower head. I'm about 5'5". I have a small shower and the original shower head was not right for me. My head & hair got soaked but I couldn't step back far enough to get everything wet, lathered and rinsed.The previous owner had installed a nice fixture but the tilt of the hose & head didn't have enough wiggle room to make the angle right for me. The size & shape of this riser did the trick, cost a lot less than a new set up, and has plenty of space for adjustment. Reasonable price too. Nice finish and easy to install. The hardest thing was getting the original shower head pipe loose!
