A really beautiful compass and a perfect replacement for the Plastimo 100 as it fits in the same hole in the bulkhead. Installation is a breeze and it also comes with a cover which the 100 didn't. The light in it is bright and doesn't draw much power. If you need to adjust the compass due to magnetic distortion from your boat, the compensation tool to do that is not included so you may want to get one as well. The one I had from the 100 fit perfectly in this as well. Although it is inserted in the face of the compass rather than the cabin side, and it is necessary to remove the face of the compass to do so with a flathead screwdriver. When I did, it popped off and landed behind me. Fortunately not in the water.
