Really needed this compass for driving in rural Colorado where there is no phone service. The compass doesn't register the correct direction no matter which direction I place it is. Don't have the patience to even return it . . . Buyer beware.

You can’t tell what direction you’re going. It needs to be calibrated but no way to accomplish it. Not worth buying. Too late to send back.

Many reviews of all car compasses are negative. I think in most cases are because the purchaser didn't read the directions.
