About this item

  • 5 Layer Inserts for Cloth Diapers are highly absorbent. They should fit most One Size cloth diapers, sized at 13 by 5 inches each. They absorb over 8oz liquid. They work well at wicking moisture from your baby's bottom-this is a great stay-dry feature! These won't bunch up, are easy to wash and dry, and are a stain resistant color.

Shape, maybe out rim could be turned up to catch more liquid. Thought of doing some kind of wicking? It is helping. I wear incon. Underwear. A pad and your garment. Like to wear less!Sincerely, mjt

My 14 mo old is a heavy wetter and means business when he makes a dirty diaper. These inserts are crazy absorbent and even easier to clean! I only need to use 1 insert for daytime and 2 for overnights vs 2 and 3 of regular microfiber. Cannot recommended enough

I’m new to the cloth diapering game, but so far these have been great. I also have a set of cotton inserts, which are good and obviously beneficial because they’re natural and more breathable, but they don’t have the best absorption I’ve found (at least so far). My son drinks a LOT so he can fill diapers up constantly, and these inserts are amazing at holding a lot without leaking. Also great bang for your buck.

They for perfectly inside a cloth pull up and hold a lot of liquid. I can put more than one for the night time and they work great. No bad smells after washing. I really like these!

We do like these but they are 100% polyester, NOT bamboo. For almost $40 I would have not purchased it knowing it wasn’t actually bamboo. Absorbency is okay. She still leaks through them tho.

Too big for babies..if you fit under diapers then there is no way it will fit to babies easily..

I'm writing this review after using these for about a month. These inserts are excellent! After a month of washing they do appear to have much better absorbency than when I started.WashingI went with the method of washing with detergent the first time then washing 4 more times after without detergent. I use Charlie's soap with warm water. Initially I washed using delicate though after a couple weeks I switched to a normal wash with an extra rinse cycle. On a daily basis I wash about 3-7 inserts in warm water with about 1 oz Charlie's soap. I used to let the inserts sit in the soapy water. Now I just do a pre wash which is just a rinse and spin cycle for me and then proceed to do a normal cycle with an extra rinse at the end. The extra rinse is to help remove soap suds.CleaningI remove all poop from the insert and leave it sitting in a bucket until night time. I leave whatever water was absorbed during the removing of the poop to keep it from staining. If needed I do also pre treat with a stain remover like Honest laundry detergent or 7th generation stain remover. Thus far no stains! They also do not smell after washing.SizeI use mama koala diapers and these fit for the most part. It's very snug. I'm still using the diapers in the smallest setting and I fold it over to fit. This does make the diapers a bit bulky. I don't kind the bulkiness as I don't put pants on my LO. In terms of width the inserts are almost exact with the width of the diaper at the narrowest point.AbsorbencyI do feel these definitely absorb more than the inserts that come with mam koala diapers. I do still try to change every 1-3 hrs to prevent leaks and diaper rash.

Best quality.product is very good, soft for baby.. And very absorbent... Not wasting of money... Baby feels comfortable.. Bt one suggestion is that don't stuff it in pocket of diaper or use diaper without pockets for better result... It last more than 6 hr..but it's better to change diapers every 4 to 6 hr..thanks Amazon and seller.. 😊

I'm very happy with these diapers. After prepping them with 5 wash cycles, they got softer and thinner. Even now, after about 6 months of use, they feel very soft. They're still held together well. There's just a bit of pilling around the edges, but it's not so bad. They don't hold odors or stains. These are my first choice diapers and they get used the most. I also have some prefolds and other charcoal diapers that came with a diaper set I bought. I like these the best out of all of them because they are the thinnest and most absorbent. It's important to have a good wash routine so that the diapers don't start smelling. I've tried many different routines and what works best for me is washing every other day, no matter how many clean diapers I have left. The longer you keep dirty diapers in the pail, the more they'll smell, and the harder it will be to get rid of the odor. And, for me, it works best to rinse the poop off the diapers right away and hand strain the excess water after rinsing before putting them in the pail. The washer can take away the poop before baby starts solids, but I wouldn't recommend that. I tried doing that at first after reading from many parents who did that and said it's fine, but the odor started building up and they started making my baby's butt red. Rinsing off the poop after diaper changes and washing the diapers properly is what works for me.As for washing, I do a short pre wash with hot water and two scoops of detergent (I use the Costco Ultra Concentrated because it's super cheap and cleans awesomely), then a regular wash with hot water and one scoop of detergent, and I add about a cup of vinegar once a week during the rinse cycle. Cloth diapers do take a while to dry (longer than regular clothes would take), and its important to make sure they are fully dry. I live in an apartment, so I can't line dry them, but the dryer works well and they don't hold odors after a proper wash.Overall, I'm very happy with these and I'd definitely order more in the future if I need them.
