My cat is 18 and what I feed her is SUPER important as many brands of catfood out there are essentially made with less than quality ingredients. There is NOTHING grade A included in the process. Just like humas, our nutrition and gut health determines your quality of life. My cat is picky and she went right to it. I love that it's made with pumpkin, peas, carrots and smells good. I highly recommend and will be purchasing again.

My cats don't like this product too much, but I do, although I don't eat it! I like that it's natural, I can see big pieces of meat, pieces of vegetables (carrots & peas, mostly) and lots of gravy. Unfortunately, my cats lick the sauce and barely eat the food itself! Cats are fussy eaters!

Neither cat will eat these.. disappointed I can not return. And the male eats any fresh meat he is given normally. Cats have eaten before. Maybe bad batch..

It seems like good cat food. Looks good, smells good and my two finicky cats seem to like it, so that is what counts. As long as they eat it, I will buy it again for them but probably try a different flavor so they don't get tired of the same one all the time.

Our 24 pack of Natural Balance Platefulls duck, chicken, pumpkin flavor arrived 10/23/17 in a sturdy box within the Amazon box. Within the product's sturdy box are 2 manufacturer display boxes, each holding 12 of the Platefulls dinners. The expiration date is 05/22/2019. We add a small amount of this soft food daily to our cat's diet because she had problems with constipation following a 2nd urinary tract infection within a 6 month period. The vet informed that this type of infection can cause pain during bowel movements. The result is that the cat doesn't want to defecate and has a problem with constipation, or a build up of feces. Our cat required an antibiotic and also a stool softener. My husband had read on line that some vets recommend adding soft food/food with liquid to the diet to help with constipation, so we tried this in addition to switching to a cat food for urinary tract problems. Our vet agreed with the food changes. We supplemented Chloe's dry food with a soft dinner with gravy, giving the "meal" to her in 1/4 portions for 4 days of treats. As she'll lick the gravy but refuse to eat the soft chunks, we puree one meal and gravy, give her 1/4 of it, and refrigerate the rest. We microwave the other portions before serving them, as the warmth is more appetizing and should help to relax muscles for easier passing of feces. After trying this dinner from a pet store,we bought a 24 pack due to Amazon's good price. If she tires of it we can always purchase a couple of individual packs of another flavor and then switch back. Our 19 lb cat is very healthy overall, (she's not fat-just a very big girl). She was estimated to be 3 years old when we adopted her approx. 8 & 1/2 years ago. Her only problems thus far have been the 2 infections, so she's doing fine for her age. She really likes this food, and we like the ingredients, so we're happy too.

Tasty moist morsels in a delightful aromatic sauce. My kitty loves the taste of some of these pouches. I try to avoid the indoor formulas because they contain too much fiber. The ground flax seed contains more than enough fiber, but it does contain other nutrients. My kitty does eat the morsels, & the aroma of these pouches is truly delightful. I don't think this is superior to Wellness Indulgence, but I think the fiber content of Wellness Indulgence is way too high. This has starch & some gums--not good either, so there is no perfection. If your kitty does not eat the morsels right away, they might just need a little time to adjust. I tried not to make these pouches regular food, but it has some good qualities & I will continue to buy this. I would prefer a food without ANY of the harmful gums, but my kitty is so into these pouches & taste now that she is refusing to eat other foods.Chicken Broth, Chicken, Chicken Liver, Peas, Dried Egg Whites, Sweet Potatoes, Potato Starch, Pumpkin, Natural Flavor, Guar Gum, Sodium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, Salmon Oil, Ground Flaxseed, Minerals (Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Sodium Selenite, Cobalt Amino Acid Chelate, Potassium Iodide), Sodium Carbonate, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin Supplement, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid), Taurine, Choline Chloride, Spinach, Parsley, Dried Kelp, Cranberry Meal, DL-Methionine, Yucca Schidigera Extract.Crude Protein 8.0% Min.Crude Fat 3.0% Min.Crude Fiber 1.0% Max.Moisture 82.0% Max.Taurine 0.05% Min.Omega-6 Fatty Acids* 0.50% Min.Omega-3 Fatty Acids* 0.07% Min.NO CARRAGEENAN! AND without the toxic supplement Menadione Sodium Bisulfite (source of Vitamin K)--(The Material Safety Data sheet on Menadione-sodium bisulfite states: “The substance is toxic.")I would try to find these via Amazon at $17.76 per box--a really good price.

My cats have NEVER been so healthy! They would do ANYTHING for a taste of this soft food! And that is part of the "problem", one of my cats loves this SO much that he has started to refuse his new dry food, and it did become a bit of an issue with him. (A friend's cat did the same thing: Got "addicted" and started to refuse his dry food!) This is NOT why it loses the star in rating though. Although my cats LOVE this, and have become healthier on it along their new dry food, and the packet is MUCH easier to open than a can, it tends to be a nightmare when you are trying to rip it open and feed three begging cats. (I've resorted to opening the packet with my three cats locked in another room, while I place the contents in a plastic container, so I may carefully feed them without getting it all over their three heads and making a complete mess. The combination of the extreme desire for the food and the packet not being easy to tear open to feed loses a single star. These packets are much better than the cans though. Mostly because I'm buying this food for the Cranberries being an ingredient. And I REFUSE to feed that NASTY patè! It's GROSS going in, and WORSE going out! (Plus, Cranberries as an ingredient are much further down the list.)This week, I've placed an order for a different Flavour, with the Cranberries as a higher ingredient. Hopefully my cats will LOVE it just as much. (I just wish the packets weren't giving my hands trouble when I open them!)Post Script: I will Review the other Flavour after it arrives, I feed it, and Update this one to compare the two Flavours.
