Reliable notebook, works well in the lab. Bought it for a class that requires it. Main complaint is that the paper is incredibly thin, and most pen writing you can see through without much effort. Less bleed through would improve it astronomically! Otherwise, a good book, wish it might have been a little cheaper.

This is the best of the lower-priced lab/graph books on the market (i.e., not leather-bound or book marked, etc.). I have used many different brands over the years. The paper is a bit better quality than those of offered at the big-box stores. Graph printing is light enough not detract from your figures or notes. The binding is much more solid than the cheaper ones. I have some that I wrote in 30 years ago that are still fresh and solid, like I had written in them yesterday!

I bought this notebook for my lab in college and it was perfect for my class. Only downside is no page numbers, you have to write each one in.

Excelente para laboratório!Tamanho aproximado de um caderno universitário, menor do que costuma-se usar no lab. Como é costurado não corre o risco de perder folhas com o tempo, como o livro ata para o mesmo fim.As linhas quadriculada azuis permitem fácil visualização da escrita tanto com lápis ou caneta. O espaçamento entre as linhas são de 5mm, pouco menor do que de costume (7mm), porém ainda permite uma escrita clara de uma linha para outra. O acabamento é muito bom, parece ser resistente e durável.

Great lab notebook and any students/teachers notebook tool!I was using the notebook for organic chemistry notes and there is so much you can write on one page that it is the first notebook I really like for science notes.I like pretty much everything about this notebook. However, there are few things you might need to consider before buying it.1st, the pages are thin and it is good you use non-bleeding ballpoint pen when writing. I make notes on both sides with ballpoint pen, but if you use a pen that has gel/ink of medium to bold thickness, you will have to probably use one side of paper only. I used some gel pens on it, but they don't bleed through much as they are fine in thickness, but not sure if all will work same.2nd, the grid is small and perfect to fill in as much as you would get a larger format of a notebook, so you pretty much get same deal, but it's easier to carry smaller notebook than larger one.3rd, the sewn pages are well done and no pages will fall out. Very well done!4th, the cover is very nicely stiff, it won't bend or break, at least from my experience. The colors on the cover will somehow fade over time with use, but it doesn't make any difference to me.5th, it is very inexpensive notebook that I will use in lab starting this week. So, if anything goes wrong, I will update on lab uses.One thing to keep in mind is that the pencils are not ment to be used with these notebooks (they mostly are very light, but using standard 2B hardness of wooden pencils works on these, so I will be getting these 2B and 4B hardness refills for my pensils to use if for classes notes (for assignments in math/organic chem, etc.it might be useful to have). Pensils I used included 1.1 mm rite-in-rain pencil that didn't do well on these pages. I recommend the softer pensils if you must.I will try to add some pictures soon.This is very inexpensive notebook and I recommend using it for lab experiments for your organic chemistry, biology and research projects.

Years ago, I was crushed when Roaring Spring stopped making my then-favorite notebook; a quadrille-ruled, 96 page book with the same dimensions as this one. Thank goodness for National, because this is the only book I know of with these exact dimensions and page count that is still being made. I love this notebook so much that I buy a couple of them every year or so for my "notebook hoard", an emergency stash I am keeping in case production of this book ever ceases.I have used this book as a journal and sketchbook exclusively in conjunction with a Pilot V Ball Extra Fine point pen. Here are the specific things I like about this book:- The paper is thin but it doesn't feel cheap- My chosen pen doesn't bleed at all, which seems amazing- The pages are smooth and buttery to write on but not so smooth that they repel ink. I can immediately run my hand over fresh writing or close the book with a fresh sketch in it without any problems- The book is very easy to open, allowing both sides of each page to be written on easily even if I am close to the beginning or end of the book- My oldest book with writing in it is 6 or 7 years old, and so far the paper and ink have not wilted or yellowed with age- This book has good binding and seems very well constructed. My 6-7 year old book gets tossed into my backpack pretty often and, aside from some wear and tear around the edges, looks great even after all these yearsThis might not be important to anybody else, but It is really easy to paint/draw on/collage the cover of this book, as well.I would consider this a great gift for a designer, artist, architect, or just anybody who loves notebooks.
