Thick enough to provide desired stability. Easy to install and the screw holes were spaced well. Cofident that the item will stay put and add rigidity to the base of the door.

Used on my entry door from the garage. Took me maybe 15 minutes to find center of door and match to plate. Easy installation. For the ones that said it was missing hardware, I wonder how hard they looked. Enclosed photo of where the company puts the screws.
