The seal I received is obviously very old stock. The spring that seals the rubber lip is very rusty. See photo. Junk!Update: Seller gave full refund including shipping.

Pinion seals seem to be one of the hardest things to stop leaking. I installed a new rig and pinion in my car and the one I removed only had around 1000 miles but it leaked ever since I put it in new. It appears that this new seal is going to work out fine.
