Worked great on my 06 duramax. It's important to add rtv on the back of the seal where the metal hits metal though, I didn't realize that as apparently the guy before me didn't either (that was apparently the leak I was trying to fix in the first place) and it leaked there again after I was done so I had to do it again.

Item arrived bare in envelope without mfg packing, part number or any type of identification. The part might be correct, but I'm not willing to pull apart the differential to find out if the part is correct. It's insane that a "GM Genuine" part arrives without any identification, no bag, tag or stamped part number. Re-ordered part from amazon.com and replacement arrived in mfg sealed bag.

If you are getting this to replace your old two lip seal, you must also purchase the sleeve kit from Yukon gear or GM as the this seal is 1/8” larger than the first design seals which leaked.
