I've been using these to cushion the bottom of furniture on a wood floor - it's a touch harder to drag the furniture around but the floors stay unmarked and there's no horrible screeching sound. There are a couple outdoor projects they'll do well for, when the weather gets warm enough. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this half-inch foam padding.

These are really good. Very easy to use. You can cut them to fit whatever you want, I did this with a couch. Once they are attached they stay there and they do a great job of preventing slipping on a wood floor.

These are a great cushion for arm rests. They are about one centimeter thick and feel very dense. I put them on the arm rest of an office chair and it has made them incredibly more comfortable. The stickers work well and they are super easy to cut into the size/shape you need. They are so small though that I don't know where you would use them to dampen any noise level.

This package of foam pads are great for multiple purposes. I installed one under my air duct booster fan that is mounted on a wood block. The foam pad stops any sound vibration between the fan and the wood. I like the adhesive backing on the foam pad because it sticks well. The pads are much thicker than expected but they do a great job stopping sound vibration. The product dimensions are accurate. I would recommend these for any project that requires foam padding.

The pads I received were 4 1/8" x 4", so slightly longer in one direction. They are *exactly* 1/2" thick. They easily compress to flat between a thumb and index finger, but will support substantial weight when distributed across the entire surface. The foam is easily tearable and will not wear well against any rough or uneven surface. But you won't find this level of sponginess without being tearable. The adhesive is just right for most applications I can image people using these for, enough to hold, but not excessive, and without major residue when removed. The ad shows these being used under the legs of chairs, sofas, tables, etc., but there are better products for that use. The non-adhesive surface is also not grippy at all, so I wouldn't use these as anti-slip pads either. It would, however, serve very well for anti-vibration and to a limited degree, for sound insulation, and maybe cold insulation, but not so much for heat insulation given its unlikely heat tolerance.A very effect pad for the right application and circumstance. Superb shock absorption for the right amount of weight.

...because they're use-case-specific. They dampen vibration, they are not noise-absorbing/dampening.like:- totally work for "humming" thinks like hard drive bays, fans, etc.dislike:- furniture-moving silencers?!? In whose house is this a problem?!?value: For small sheets of adhesive foam...not great.in sum: You either know you need these things -- you've got something humming on your desk or floor -- or you don't. If you need them, they work well.

always good to have a set of pads like these around. Just be aware of the size! These are not suitable for anything that requires a big surface.
