I received this (a bit expensive) chisel wrongly ground, from factory. One of the sides is ground at an incorrect angle at has imperfections.Since a 90 degree chisel is inherently difficult to grind at the corner, it would take considerable efforts to correct this, so I returned it.I am very surprised by this, since Narex supposedly is a "quality brand" and will buy from other manufacturers instead in the future. It is ok (and understood) that a final edge is put on tools by the purchaser, but this was so wrongly ground that it would take hours to correct.

Narex makes an affordable and solid line of chisels and this corner chisel is no exception. The handle is comfortable and will develop nicely over the lifetime of use this chisel will see. You could use this straight out of the box but your performance will increase with an initial tune up (sharpening/flattening).You can spend more and you can spend less but spending money on Narex is always just right.

Really handy chisel I reach for a lot more than I'd expected. Wasn't terrible to sharpen if you're well set up, and seems to hold an edge fairly well. I'm using it to fix up corners, of course, not actually chopping out much wood with it, which helps.

This chisel is great for the price. I ordered it for some custom lights i am fabricating. It smoothly cut right through the hard wood. Handle is comfortable and when hit with a hammer it doesn't even mark it.

This Narex corner chisel was well forged and machined. It was sharp right out of the box. Great quality plus a great price.

The Narex brand of chisels seems to sharpen well. You will need to do some work on them when they arrive, but they seem to be a good chisel considering the price. Be prepared to flatten the back, hone the bevel, and apply the secondary bevel. When this is done, they generally respond well to use. Time will tell if these will hold up to significant use, but they show promise. This chisel in particular is difficult to sharpen. Be prepared to work at it carefully if you've never sharpened a corner chisel.

Formidable tool. Just what I expected for the price. Sturdy, very well machined. Needs a little polish to come to a mirror shine. Satisfied.

Wer so etwas benötigt oder will, kauf sicher kein schlechtes Produkt.

It's hard to find a corner chisel for some reason. This is a pretty good one. It came nicely sharpened and cuts pretty well. My only gripe is that one cutting edge sits proud of the other, meaning that if you set the chisel on its tip on a flat surface, one half of the cutting end is higher than the other. This doesn't really affect things as far as what I use it for, but it's worth noting. I'm hoping that my sharpening service can fix this when they eventually sharpen the chisel.
