Installation and Operating:
Preparation
The assembly of all calibration shall meet the maximum flow requirement.
Please clean the port and fitting before installation, it will effectively avoid bring dust to the air path.
Pay attention to direction of air flow and arrow pointing on product body if correct, minding port and thread size if match.
Filtration
The filtration process is carried out automatically, and the 5 micron filter element removes sediment, suspended solids, colloids, rust, particles in the air.
Drainage
Drainage column will automatic excrete if there is no pressure,and it will close during the air flow passing. When the water level is beyond upper limit, drainage is necessary, otherwise that will cause poor dehumidification.

I installed this in front of my air regulator which also has a moisture trap. This is inline with my shop compressor for air brushing. Good insurance because you definitely cannot have water get into your airbrush. So far it's pulled out any water and no water has gotten to the second moisture trap. Take into account I airbrush in my garage which can sometimes get above 80% humidity in the summer. Some might say 2 moisture traps are overkill, but the first time you throw water at something you've worked on for hours, you'll wish you had 3. That's no lie.

Works well as the first water trap right off of my 30 gal compressor. Quality is good for the money. Installs quick and easy. Not having any issues with leaks when my line is under pressure and auto empties when I depressurize at the end of the day. Would buy again.

First off, I realize that this is a lower cost air filter/dryer, so I did take factor into account in my rating.The first and main complaint is that the pipe nipples are not brass, they are yellow anodized aluminum, so the picture is misleading in that regard. The teflon tape seemed thin and it scared me, so I just threw it out, I normally use pipe dope anyway.My secondary complaint is the way the bowl attaches to the main body. It is removed/replaced by pushing the red tab down, and rotating the metal bowl cover 1/8 turn until some slots align, then pulling straight down.I labeled mine in the lock and open positions with a marker. This is not what I am used to, and may not be very durable- or it may work well, and maybe I am just an old man frightened of new ideas- but time will tell.The entire filter unit measures 6 inches tall, not counting the bracket or drain. The bowl itself is of decent size and measures 3 3/4 inches long, by 2 3/4 inch diameter.My filter did not seem to leak, but I did mount it downstream of the air shut off anyway, so that wouldn’t bother me if it did leak a little.So, overall, the air dryer does work at what it is supposed to do, it is also the cheapest one out there and lastly, it is of a decent size; so I suppose it’s a good deal after all.

My old filter was leaking pretty bad, so I bought this one to replace it. It filters the water out very effectively. It fits perfectly to my pressure regulator. Overall nothing cant beat it for the money, well worth it!!!

It does separate the water from the air. It works and isn't bad. You have to manually drain from the bottom which is fine. No problems. If you are looking for a quick water separator for your air tools, buy it.

Over all good quality and does what it's supposed to...only complaint is the fittings are Not Solid brass they are basically Brass colored aluminum.
