I had been struggling with other hardware to verify if my garage door was open. This Nascom unit is perfect for my application. It's very sturdy and reliable attached to my overhead garage door rail. While the gap seems large, it reads every time. I can't imagine I'll ever need to touch it.

Work as expected no problems at all would buy them again. They replace the ones that are mounted on the floor. when forklift drivers knock them out all the time these are the ones to replace them with. I put them approximately 10 feet in the air on a roll up doors never had a problem sense.
