9 year old son plays soccer so we got 2 of these nets for the back yard, one in November 2016 and another in May 2017. They work well when new but there are two issues.- The most disappointing part is the netting falls apart quickly. It hasn't even been a year and the first net is a shambles. We've never abused these nets and they have holes in the netting big enough for the ball to go through and the sleeves that go over the tubing get brittle and rip.- The tubing is pretty sturdy but sometimes the pieces pop apart which I'll admit is a minor annoyance.- The worst part is that there is no way to get support or warranty claims on this stuff and there is no way I'm buying identical replacement garbage netting.I'm going to try and find some decent heavy duty replacement nets but won't be buying anything Mylec.

Bought this goal for Christmas the year before last and the goal has held up pretty well considering I have 3 boys that all play soccer.Pros:PVC for the goal structure holds up well in the elementsEasy to take a part if you need to move it, store it, etc.Con:Really, just one - The Net, My net started tearing at the top about 3 months from when I purchased it. I was able to use white duct tape for awhile to hold it together but it eventually fell a part. When the net does fall apart, as an inexpensive way to fix it you can go to Lowes or Homedepot and buy plastic fencing to use as a net (I know, this sounds strange). Just zip tie the best looking plastic fencing to the goal and you will be good to go.

Easy setup - can't handle shots the plastic falls out of the connections too easy.

The one goal we purchased had a very snug fit and required minimal prepping to assemble. However, the second goal was somewhat not as snug, but this was simply alleviated by putting a small piece of duct tape on the tube end and then inserting it into the connection end. Nobody can see the duct tape and it won't come apart unless a great deal of physical force is applied. Not sure why so many people complain about this goal coming apart when the remedy is simple enough for a third grader to figure out!!!

I coach U5 soccer and I would highly recommend this. I take it apart and reassemble it 2 times a week for practices. It will not fit in my car fully assembled. Its pretty big. The kids tend to hang on the cross bar sometimes and it has yet to break. The posts click in very easy and its really quite sturdy. I will need to replace the net now after a full season, but I am extremely pleased with this product. If you are looking for a stationary soccer goal for a 8+ year old, this isn't the goal for you. If you are looking for a large portable goal for the younger players, this is the one.Good Luck!Jurgen Klinsmann

My son is 11 and is a good soccer player. We were looking for a heavy duty net that could be assembled and left outside. This looks to be a heavy duty PVC frame with a heavy net. The frame is not PVC, but basically a toy grade plastic. The net is thin and held onto the frame with sewn on material loops. Although this net "looks" nice, basically any shot with a little force sends it tumbling. Even the packaging (which you don't see) has younger kids on it. I am assuming that is basically who it is intended for. The price not bad, but I wouldn't buy for anyone over 7 or 8 years old.

Makes kicking the ball around in the yard a little more fun. It you don't screw or glue the pieces together it does come apart rather easily.

I've had this for a month and I'm trying to get my toddlers interested in soccer. Right size for them but smallish for adults. Fine for five a side though. I will likely get a second one.Light enough to move around.Looks great!Assembled in about ten to fifteen minutes. Straightforward.Great buy.

My 7 y/o plays soccer, this is good extra practice when we are playing in the back yard together. Made from light PVC pipe so its a little wispy, however, easy to move. The size is the bear minimum, any smaller and shots from further out than a few yards are tough. My son enjoys it, I would like something a little larger to carrying him through a few years. Not bad.
