I had way too much coaxial cable since we moved the modem from one end of the house to the other. Cut the cable with some lineman's pliers. Then used the grey dual cutter to cut the outer and inner layer, which exposed the bare wire. Then I pushed on the connector, then crimped using the crimping tool. The connector fits right on the crimper...

I've used this kit to make about a dozen connections so far, so it's definitely solid & effective. The kit didn't come with any instructions, so using the wire stripper was frustrating at first, but things are going much better after some trial & error. The black connectors are built differently than the blue ones, but I'm not sure why that's the case. Are the black one for outdoors? Are they for different sized cable? Again, there are no instructions, so I'm not sure. Although the kit itself is excellent, there is a problem with training the human operator.

It takes a few tries to get the cutter just right, but if you've got the cut right, the crimper works really well.

I had to repair a broken coaxial cable. I bought this set to cut the broken bit of cable off, strip it back, and put on a new end. The tools worked as advertised. The stripping tool took a few tries to get right as I kept using the wrong size for the different layers on the coaxial cable, but eventually I figured it out. The compression tool is really cool. Eons ago I just used some pliers to crimp down a coaxial end, but this compression tool works amazing. I don't think this one is any different than any of the others, but just the technology itself is awesome. That's it. I don't see myself using this tool very often so I anticipate this lasting forever.

Have used this crimper multiple times. You might say I have become pretty proficient in the usage. LOL Fits well in my hand and easily crimps the wire and connector together. Recommend

No instructions included, watched video on Amazon listing and followed as directed. Connector / cable inserted into crimper correctly and crimped. Connector falls off! Not even close to holding F6 cable to connector. Ended up crimping with pliers and holding together with electrical tape. Don't waste the money!

I love it, it's quick and easy. But only 4 stars because 2 out of 4 connectors I used fell apart in my hand, not good. Also there were no instructions, the video is good, but doesn't tell you how to make adjustments. You'll have to figure that out on your own. But once you got it, you'll love it.

The package came with all I needed to get the job done. I had never cut a coaxial cable, would’ve appreciated instructions on how to use the cable cutter. But it got the job done 👍🏼

But the connectors sucked too.Pros, cheap and came with a few connectors.Cons, I needed the connectors because the crimper squeezed the connectors from the bottom and unevenly, causing the first connector to buckle in half and snap the end of my wire. The screws were press fitted into the wire stripper so, after tightening them to an appropriate level, one fell out and I had to hunt for it in the carpet. After a few tries, I got the product to do what it says on the package but I'm much more comfortable with your standard wire crimper.
