The switch works perfectly as described. I'm not sure about the people saying the LED isn't 110V compatible and dim. The LED is rated for 110-220V, but I have it connected to 110V, and it's plenty bright, so I'm not sure if those people got a bad switch or if they have changed the LED in the switch. Either way, it works exactly as described.

Well constructed and nice looking brushed aluminum bezel. I was hoping that I would get the 240VAC tolerant LED and was not disappointed. How it will work over the long haul is just a guess. So far so good.

Seems like a good switch. Time will tell. However, I knocked off two star because it has the wrong voltage light bulb in it. So it's not as advertised. These are advertised as having bulbs for 110v. But it's actually for 220v {marked on the bulb} so it's very dim when used on 110v. I'll keep it and use it but I will have to replace the bulb with the correct one. Disappointed with this so I will look for another brand next time I need one.

I'm always skeptical of electromechanical components sold on Amazon, eBay, etc. More often than not they are junk knockoffs despite the reviews. The mxuteuk 2 and 3 position, maintained, illuminated 120V rrotary switches which I have received these past several months have all been of good quality and quite serviceable. The expected parts are all there: gasket, solid locking ring (with two screws for the panel backside should you need), switch body, and knob set. The illumination is bright enough for full daylight outdoors which is a requirement for my usage (120V units). The switch neck (22mm diam) does indeed support using a double-d knockout so that you get good locking with your panel. Of course, you can just cut a 22mm circular hole should you prefer, but know that you can go the single- or double-d route as well.
