These exceeded my expectations, I used them for 2 different projects.I modified the end caps by drilling holes so I could daisy-chain the wires to more strips. I cut the metal channels to length with a band saw and the lenses with a pair of tin snips.I have tried various options in the past and all were either too expensive for what you were receiving or brittle/flimsy.These should last well beyond the life of the LED strips I installed!

I order these to help light up my streaming studio and when they arrived they were damaged by the shipper, I put in a ticket with photos and without an issue I had a new set delivered. No time wasted and made me feel valued. The product as well when up very easy and looks great, if you need to cut them pick up a small hobby style saw and some cutters for the plastic cover which snaps right in.I did not use the clips that came with them because I have cats that walk around the desk area that I was mounting them too so I just drilled some small holes into them using the screws that came with them and it worked like a charm.

Works well with the wider LED light strips. The covers take some practice to get them installed/snapped in place, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy.

I purchased this product to protect my under cabinet LED lighting strips. I have had them installed for a while now and this product has prevented discoloring of the LED strips from steam and what not from the kitchen. Worth the purchase.

I used these to mount strip lights along the sides of a pontoon boat. I chose a multipack because it exactly met the length requirement. If I had it to do again, I would have chosen longer pieces, even if it meant more money or leftover parts. The pieces are precisely made. The clear lenses were a good choice and snap in well. The provided mounting clips are better suited to indoor applications, so I elected to secure the strips with clear silicone sealant and I wrapped aircraft safety wire at each clip to ensure security. I also used silicone at each joint to prevent water from entering the channel. Overall, a good value, but I went into this project knowing that I would have to use some additional materials and handyman skills to make it work for my intended purpose.

I have a stairwell that that needed light. There was no easy way to install lights in the ceiling so I opted for installing a strip of leds in the handrail. This turned out to be a very impressive way to light the stairs. The handrail was your typical stained round wood rail with a flat bottom edge. To install the LEDs I had to use a router to make a slot in the bottom flat surface of the handrail which is the challenge of the project. With the high speed grabbing nature of the router it’s not possible to do this free hand. I had to clamp the railing down and temporarily fix a guide surface along side the surface I wanted to router. The router base would then ride on the railing and the guide surface. A vertical rail on the guide surface kept the cut positioned where I wanted it in the handrail. I used multiple small cut passes to eventually end up with the slot I needed. As it turned out, installing the entire aluminum channel and plastic cover would take a lot out of the hand rail so I just made the slot big enough to just use the plastic cover. I then attached the led strip with its adhesive backing and used 2 small beads of clear silicone caulk to glue in the cover. The silicone is easily removed with a knife if needed. The end result is great and I get lots of compliments on it. My led strip has a multiple brightness controller. I set it to a level below full bright to reduce stress on the leds and hopefully prolong their life. Get one that remembers brightness level setting when it loses power.
