We put in a lot of tape light. Works great in kitchens, in cabinets, and for toe kick lighting.

well made product, with longer length to facilitate either seamless or less seams on install.Corner mount provides more light coverage across counters ( under cabinet )Used some outside and having the light directed downward made them more effective for path light.Black frame is a nice upgrade from plain aluminum.

Typical RV awning lights are just all weather LED strips that stick to the side of the rig. These extrusions provide protection for the LEDs, act as a heat sink, and the frosted cover creates a soft, pleasant light. The kit comes with everything you will need to install...accept good adhesive strips. You have to purchase the LED strips separately of course. Each of my sections were aprox 39" long (shipping is cheaper for them if the length is under 40"). There's mounting clips provided but those will only hold the sections at the seams. Not good enough for an RV moving down the road. I put 3M industrial strength 2 sided tape sections every 12" on each section. This leaves gaps where water can pass behind the extrusion, down the rv wall. I did use the clips where sections joined but did not screw them in place. As well, I put RTV on each clip to seal the joints at the sections. The covers snap on fairly securely. I added 3M, 2" wide, UV and outdoor rated clear tape over each section cover joint. First run down the highway at 70 mph, nothing came off. I also staggered the cover seams so they did NOT align with the extrusion joints to further help with cutting moisture incursion. The LED strips I purchased were fairly high output (about 300 LEDs / 30') and they provide really bright light. Way brighter than any RV we've seen from the factory. Almost too bright. I'm putting a dimmer on them now.Make sure you tuck the channel up close to but NOT touching your awning when rolled in. It will help cut the light from blasting your neighbors rig. This product creates a very professional, high-end installation.

The casings themselves are good, they work as the should, the brackets are horrible, I had to drill holes on the strips to attach it to wood.

EXTREMELY happy with this product for my custom installation. Each track is 1 meter in length, and I needed ~1.4 meters under my cabinets on each side of the microwave. Like another reviewer mentioned, the thin aluminum cuts very easily on a miter saw.The white lens cover snaps in very securely. I taped the two pieces together before installing the lens for some added stability. A good idea from another reviewer - make sure to "overlap" the lens with the cut point for added stability. You can see in my photo which shows the individual components. This holds the two pieces together very well.At the bottom of my cabinets I had to cut the side partition to allow an uninterrupted installation. I pre-drilled and countersunk holes for the clips. The lights snapped right in no problem. They're super lightweight and hold very securely. I installed them under the front lip of my cabinets to so they're hidden from view. Also, the inside "face" where the strip lights attach is 10mm exactly and fit NOVOSTELLA 20ft Tunable White LED Strip perfectly (search Amazon product number B07TTP3YTP).Bottom Line: if you're looking for the cleanest possible / hidden installation, and don't mind doing some custom work, this product will work great for your under-cabinet lighting.

Low profile and inconspicuous. However, I did not use the cover lens in most cases in a cabinet lighting installation because the light from the LED strip was then visible from an angle that I did not want. I also used .4" wid 3M UHF double sided stick tape to adhere - I didn't care for their hardware, plus using continuous double sided sticky tape blocks the light from coming through in small cracks. That's the way to go IMO.

I used the advice and used a pneumatic brad nailer and that made it easy. Be sure they are straight and screw/nail as you go. I had to cut them for my purpose and it was a pita to get the ends to accept the covers if you have to cut them. You will need a small file. The covers go on OK if you have patience and start from one end and work your way down. The channel is very thin and will bend easily if you hit it with something. In my case a chair leg. They look nice and it made my project a hit. It's expensive for what it is. I could fabricate something cheaper maybe but time is money.

The rails are a bit tedious to mount and are hard to align perfectly on textured drywall (but literally everything is). The plastic covers felt super flimsy but surprisingly aren't. Everything snaps together pretty crisply. Had to overpay for a corner piece, but I feel like I got a reasonable product for the value and how easy it was to mount everything myself. My only real issue is that the pictures don't look like reality. The LED refresh rate plays well with cameras for good pictures of what look like solid bars of light, but in person you can pretty clearly see each individual LED. Picture provided up close to show what it looks more like in real life.

Fine untill they randomly detached and DESTROYED my LED's. Don't buy these. Not only are they a huge pain to install they decided to break and then proceed to break ny LED's that were in them. Not pleased

Very good product for my LED lights.TBH the clips and small screws were a waist time . I used it compressed air brad nailer finishing nails. All the lengths went up perfect and fast! The little screws and brackets would of took me all day.The plastic diffusers weren’t easy to put on but once you got one end clipped you slide yoir hand along and easy . The corners i just left flat end to wall then the other piece I trimmed to get overlap look.

Works fine. Clips are okay.Tip:try installing this in a “practice room” with your leds. You’ll learn a thing or two the first time that’ll make the next install look way better.
