I like this product, its compact form factor / moulding and design. I especially like the "friction" or ease to use = the lock release of the connector. It is a value I will buy more.

While not the highest-quality connector, for the price point, it is heavy-duty enough, mates well with other brand connectors, is easy to assemble, and, most importantly, works. The only down side is that the locking tabs are more difficult to release than some other designs. This makes disconnecting the connectors take an extra few seconds, but, also means they are less likely to accidently get unplugged.

I used a needle nose pliers to fold over the two lower flaps to hold the wire in place. Also when placing the wire with the end into the plastic housing push hard till you hear it click, make sure you put the screw cap on wire first.

These work great even in the rain and were relatively easy to install.

These work fine, but do not try to install them with the oval crimping opening on many wire stripping tools (yellow handled tool in photo). It flattens the pin, so it won't go all the way into the plastic housing. Crushing it the other way, to round it more, just loosens it. I had to solder some wires into the pins, before buying a solar crimping tool (red handle in photo). Of course, you still need a wire stripper to get the insulation off the ends. Also be sure to use the two plastic wrenches to tighten the housing until one "clicks", or you might not get a good connection.

Product work as designed. No extra tools needed. You can crimp the metal lead on with plyers and remove double insulation with a razor knife. I ordered these due to buy a cheaper solar kit that did not come with them due to to it having its own controler. But I was adding it into my system that was already working. I had to purchase get a pair of adapters also.Works well happy with my purchase.
