This brand of thermal is just okay. Sometimes the paper feeds as it should for print jobs, but most of the time it doesn't. I have had times where the paper will stop feeding or tears coming out of the printer. Each time I need to print something I'm having to watch it to make sure it doesn't get stuck or tear. The first times printing was great but it went downhill after that.I don't recommend this brand.

I was surprised at how thin this paper is. Since you need to tear it on perforated lines, there has been been tears in my paper. We bought it for the occasional print, and it works for our purpose.

Good quality paper but it is still thermal paper and print will disappear over time. If needing a permanent print will need copied

For the first of it's kind--it's okay. It's evident it was trying to get out on a new market--sort of when Microsoft was released and then had a bunch of updates to make it work. The paper is flimsy and curled, so it is quite difficult to get into the machine to begin with. The rails don't always feed the paper through at a straight angle, so you have to keep an eye on it and adjust it if necessary. There are no real guides for the paper to run along. And although it isn't run from a printer, so ink isn't necessary, it's important to comprehend that the print on the paper isn't permanent. It will eventually fade away. So if it's temporary notes you need to make from a meeting, without a printer available, it's a lifesaver to add with your cell phone or laptop in an emergency. But if you need a real print, and can wait, you're better off with a genuine printer.

Please note that these are the type that allows the thermal paper to be continuously fed through a letter-size thermal printer. They are perforated between each 8.5/11 sheet, so you can easily rip to separate the printed page from the continuous feed. The downside is that the top & bottom edge of each page has a slight ragged edge from the perforation, so it’s probably not suitable for professional purposes. The paper quality is excellent, but it's fairly thin compared to higher-quality laser printer papers. The print quality is very good, but you can definitely see the jagged edges in the printed characters; its quality is actually slightly below inkjet quality, and quite a bit lower than laser printer, especially if you print using font size below 8 to 9 pts.I would not print anything critically important that you need to keep for a long time, like legal documents (I typically print for immediate use which are destroyed or thrown out in a week at most). There are a few things to keep in mind when using it:- Only 1 side is printable, so set the input feed from the right-side of the thermal paper (marked as - This side up)- If the printed characters are too light, you can set to heavy print set on your thermal printer (hopefully that setting is available on your printer)- Store the paper & printed pages somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight (I accidentally left a print on the car dashboard under direct, hot sunlight, and the whole page pretty much faded)

This stack of thermal paper was tested with a phonemo thermal printer (M08f). The paper is compatible and works to print things for personal use. Some pages printed steaky and not fully clear. There are bold black rectangles on the backside of the page to indicate which side faces up. Similar to a previous product, I recommend that you search for thermal paper that doesn't have such a bold indication. The result is that you can see this through the paper (as its a bit transparent). The paper is not cut individually, so its a bit of an annoyance to tear each page off of the next. Thankfully, the tear line is solid and did not cause the paper itself to rip. Overall, at 40 dollars, I would continue to search for other products.
