I ordered one size up, since most of my work-out gear shrinks with time and washing. This is a bit bigger than I needed, and it's HAND-WASH ONLY, something I failed to see in the small print. The one-size larger unit doesn't give me the support I wanted, so am exchanging/returning it. (No, didn't try it on commando style....put it on over other shorts to see the fit.) I could tell coming out of the box by the length of the abdominal band it was going to be too big.
