Got this as a second cup for my 7.5 year old's cup insert undies for when he plays baseball. It is sized exactly the same as the one that came with his undies, despite being a different brand so I would say sizing is accurate.Its softer than the rigid plastic ones and he finds it more comfortable, he hasn't complained about it during practice once.I wash it with his baseball clothes, cold water, normal detergent and let it air dry and it has held up well.

My son needed another cup to rotate with what he currently owns, so I got this.This is identical to his other soft cup in shape, size, and materials. He says these fit very comfortably and are preferred over the really hard plastic ones that have no flexibility.Washing it is very easy. I normally throw it in the washer and it hasn’t warped or fallen apart. I do not put it in the dryer; I just leave it out to air dry and it air dries really quickly.I don’t know why these soft cups have some kind of camo looking pattern on them. I would prefer them to be solid colors, but that’s just preference and doesn’t affect the quality or usage of these.The only negative I have is that the banding around the perimeter (that would touch your body) ends halfway up one of the sides. I don’t think it is that irritating or bothersome, but it seems like an easy fix to have the banding edge end at a more inconspicuous location.

This protective cup is easy to use for little boys. It easily slips in pocket of compression underwear. It is sturdy and works well for football and basketball.
