Why are the edges of the eyes uneven?
Safety eyes are cast in a mold. Small channels extending to the edge of each eye leave what look like tiny chips. They are not chips and cannot be avoided as they are an important part of the casting process.
How to solve?
They can be smoothed slightly using a non-abrasive surface such as leather or rubber, but be careful not to overdo it and scratch or damage the surface of the eye.
PLEASE NOTE: CHILDREN NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT TO USE THESE STUFFED ANIMAL EYES TO PREVENT SWALLOWING.

I make a lot of plushies and was so excited try out these glitter eyes instead of my traditional all black eyes. I did like the ability to mix and match the color backings but immediately found the backing so hard to use - like impossible and if you flip the backing around the eyes will drop off. The biggest disappointment was that each eye has a very clear defect in the clear portion of the eye. I’m not sure if it’s part of the manufacturing process but it’s very noticeable and sharp - I’m going to attempt to sand them down with a fine sand paper but if you’re hoping to grab and go between the difficulty of the backings and the rough and cracked edges I would look elsewhere.

These are the perfect finishing touch for stuffed animals. I love the colors that come in the pack and the size is perfect on my 12" bears. They feel very sturdy when you get them on and they definitely won't come off with a fight!

I love this product, my floors were looking cloudy and footprints and drag marks would show like crazy. After the first use I couldn't believe the difference! I also couldn't believe how dirty the water was when I was finished. It took all of the cloudy build up off. I loved it even more after the second time!
