I know i can just use scissors, but this is such a quality of life improvement. It fits most sizes but not the extra large rolls of wrapping paper, so don't go for the thick tubes and stick to the regular size.

I really like this product once you get the hang of it. It is easy to use, but it takes a couple of tries and you do have to hold the paper stiff to be able to use it. It’s well worth the money and made my life much easier and enjoy the straight edges that it gives. The blade was very sharp and it seems like it will last long, which is a plus. The thicker the paper the easier it is to cut.

Update: I received a refund from the seller after they read my review, which i thought was very good customer service. However, I didn't update the rating, as I think their competitors are easier to use. Here is the original review: I thought having the dual cutting directions would make this thing work better than the single direction one I had before. Wrong! the part between the blade and the end of the unit isn't long enough to slip onto the wrapping paper roll easily. Get the one with the single blade, it's easier to slip onto the paper roll and much less frustrating to use.

I loved these when I could actually get them over my rolls of wrapping paper. The cutter went over the thinner rolls with no problem and worked great! The blades were nice and sharp and effortlessly cut my paper in a straight line. Just make sure to hold onto the loose side of the wrapping paper to keep tension on it and to ensure a clean cut. However, this cutter was too small to fit over the very large rolls of wrapping paper I have, which meant I couldn’t use it on about half of my wrapping paper this Christmas.

I recently discussed this and it's amazing. Really makes wrapping gifts so much easier and quicker. I previously owned different items that "make cutting easier" but they don't compare to this one! Oh...and I absolutely love that it came in a 2 pack now my husband has to help on Christmas eve lol.

This is a clever tool. I like the concept, the blades are sharp, it cuts smoothly through thick and thin paper and fits over most rolls of wrapping paper. It's made of quality materials and feels sturdy. It's easy to use, but I would not recommend if you have arthritis or weak hands as you need to apply pressure. Great value for the money!
