I love these. It used to be easy to find plastic wrap with a slider cutter instead of the usual serrated metal rim, but it's a very hard item to find these days. I've been reusing the same sad box for years, replacing the roll of plastic wrap, just so I could still use the slider cutter. I was very happy to come across these. The adhesive on the cutter strips is very strong so make sure you get it lined up on the box correctly before you press it on! I find it so much easier to use plastic wrap when I can keep it flat against whatever I'm covering and easily slice through it.

These look, fit and work as expected. I had thought they would be reusable, meaning transferable from box to box but they adhere to the box with attached double stick tape. The only way to 'reuse' them would be to transfer a new roll into the box it is attached to when one roll is finished. This is okay as long as every member of the household remembers not to throw away the box when finishing the roll. These are a serious stress reducing measure if you're like me and have a very strained relationship with cling film/wrap, always bunching it up and tearing it oddly. They definitely make it much easier to use cling wrap than the box it comes in so I absolutely recommend them - especially if you can reuse the box from roll to roll to reduce waste.

Have you ever struggled trying to cut through cling wrap with the serrated cutter that it comes with? I got this Plastic Wrap Cutter Slide Cutter through Amazon Vine, and it's fantastic! It cuts through plastic wrap, foil, and wax paper like a hot knife through butter. It's a peel and stick deal, so is easy to attach where you need it. The 12" size is good for most rolls of cling wrap, aluminum foil and parchment paper. At $9.99 for a set of 4 cutters, it's a great deal! Highly recommend!

Using scissors on a character is a pain in the butt. This is a great low cost solution.

I am not sure why, but I thought these were a reusable system that could be moved from box to box. They just did not perform well at all. They are cheaply made and the operation is very clunky and awkward. I have to basically "feed" the parchment/plastic wrap and hold it for it to slice otherwise is just drags and bunches it up. I give it 2 starts only because it did cut the wrap once it was fed properly by hand and held. I wouldn't get it again.

If we had a swear jar, it would be seeing much less business since I figured out the most convenient way to stick these to my cling wrap and waxed paper boxes! I think I'll just keep using the same boxes and filling them from new ones when these run out. Makes using cling wrap so much easier!!!
