These are so fun to use, they write butter smooth and the colors are really pretty. It’s a fun way to doodle and let loose with some warm up sketches!

Really fun for kids to draw with these. Glide smoothly and effortlessly. Gorgeous colours. Only thing to note is reminding little kids to not push too hard as the gel crayon is soft and wears down fast the harder they press.

Great colours and the crayons are soft and easy for my toddler to draw with. I dont have to worry about him breaking it in half, and or using the entire crayon in one go since it needs to be twisted. Its also easy to wipe off surfaces. I will be repurchasing once we are out!

I found that this set of gel crayons for the price and quality cannot be beat! It goes on smoothly and students are able to decorate their painted art pieces with it! I don't have them color with the gel crayons...only use it to add detail and embellishment on their painted pieces. It doesn't smear as easily as some of the other brands out there! It does take some time to dry however it dries faster than some of the other brands. I bought many sets...one for each table! Great product! Would definitely purchase again!

These are fun to use, which made the disappointment even greater when we discovered certain colors STAIN wooden surfaces. They feel buttery smooth, but are messier than I was expecting.

I wasn't sure what to expect from these, using them was a total experiment. The colors are bright, and not quite opaque. Smudgable with a rag or fingertip, really blendable with water/damp rag. Honestly they feel a little like lipstick in consistency. Press down gently for a thin/light line, or firmly for a thick/dark one (but that tends to leave clumps). A little hard and stiff to twist up at first (from the colored bottom piece), but easier after that.The first image shows the opacity and blendability of the Mr. Pen gel crayons vs. Crayola washable paint sticks on black construction paper and white copy paper. The Crayola sticks dry pretty much as soon as they're laid down, don't blend or smudge (unless you get them pretty wet). The Mr. Pen sticks stay blendable and smudgable for a long time – so that may have a factor in how you use them. I use them for small art pieces (art cards, art journals) that won't be handled a lot; I haven't tried them in anything larger yet.Overall, I like the brightness of the colors, the smoothness of the gel, and how well the material responds to water. I wish that there was a little more variety in the colors in the set (that the colors were more dissimilar), and that the cap colors were a little more representative. The second image shows all the colors on plain white paper.

seriously this crayon is so silky and smooth , no effort to color with. my 2 year old is obsessed with coloring and is very artistic. hates crayons u have to push too hard to deposit color on the paper.these crayons are so bright and beautiful and so smooth. lots of product in each crayon too!looovveegreat price too.

These are amazing for face painting. My grandson loved it! He (3yrs old) likes coloring his own face too! Washes off easily. Used as drawings, they do not dry and will smudge and get everywhere so he is closely monitored while he colors in his highchair then crayons are put out of reach when done.

I am an art teacher for people of all ages. These crayons require no effort to use. They glide and and super colorful. Not waxy and don’t regulate peeling paper off to sharpen and don’t require sharpeners! They also don’t break and crumble. They have the consistency of an oil pastel and are so snotty and easy to use. Best crayons ever!! I’m recommending them to all of my schools and all of my art students!

I'm a first grade teacher and am always coloring with the students. These are GREAT for my use. They are nice and dark so my students can see them on the screen. We use crayons to "highlight" different word parts (vowels, digraphs, blends, etc.), and these work nicely to color over text still allowing you to read the text. They are pretty thick, so coloring smaller things is hard--I would love for a thin version to be created. They're so smooth that they remind me a lot of oil pastels, but they don't transfer color to your hands the way an oil pastel would nor do they smear. Since they are so smooth and soft, you don't need to add much pressure at all when coloring, unlike traditional crayons. I would not have my kids use them because they are so soft--definitely great for bigger kids and adults.
