These is a good quality bracket. I would like it a little wider, but I am happy with it. The nuts are metric, but they give you one of those stamped wrenches. A metric box wrench is helpful to have.

I had gutters installed on my house making my ladder unusable to get to the roof, unless I want to mess up my new gutters, which I don't. This little item is fantastic I can get onto my roof again without crushing my gutters, its perfect buy one you won't be disappointed

Ordered for my kids. They are little dare-devils and fly up and down the latter. For my peace of mind, I ordered this and it keeps the latter secure and against the house. When using the latter myself, I felt much more secure and safe. It felt like the latter was hugging the house. It prevents our latter from rocking or moving like they can. We appreciate the bright orange color making the latters position easy to see. This is completely functional, easy to use, budget friendly, safety equipment. It just makes sense to use. This would make a great house gift.

I installed the IRONSTONE Extension Ladder Stabilizer on my Big Red adjustable ladder and on my Werner extension ladder. The provided hardware did not require any modification to fit my two very different ladders. My Big Red ladder is a very heavy ladder, but the stabilizer did not shift, bow, or bend under the weight. The square tubing is a fairly thick gauge metal and is powder coated to prevent rusting. It has two non-slip rubber feet that prevent sliding off the roof and also prevents damage to roofing tile. My only complaint is that the two feet are bolted into place. My ladder rack would not accommodate those long legs, and they would rest up against the roof of my Van threatening to dent it. I have to take it apart every time I transport it to the job site. Some of the more professional ladder stabilizers have the ability to swivel the feet by 90 Degrees for easier transporting.

This ladder stabilizer is a game changer! Gutter cleaning is so much easier with the bright orange arms anchoring the ladder; no sway or lean as I climb up to the roofline!

Apparently my old aluminum 2-piece sliding extension ladder isn't quite wide enough for this product. I have about 1" of play on each side where it won't sit flush. Which is sill because it would have been easy to just make the variable middle extender slightly shorter that it is. I would also expect washers on the u-bolts to secure this extension versus just a single hex bolt. Upon testing it with these concerns, it worked fine. Hoping I don't find out the hard way that it didn't pack quite enough heft.
