This thing produces a lot of heat on the low setting, however, it will suck a 5gal. propane tank dry faster than a wet vac in a dog's bowl. This thing should come with a disclaimer letting the customer know this item should be installed to a 50gal. propane if you plan to use it for the weekend...intermittently. No complaints...just wish my girlfriend could do this....intermittently..

Great product, I keep it on low settings and it does wonders in 20-30 mins. From 30 degrees to 70 degrees in less than 30 mins. It’s great for large spaces. Make sure to open the doors occasionally to ventilation. Highly recommended!!!!

This propane tank attachable outdoor heating unitis absolutely amazing! It sets up quickly, attaches easily to the tank, (a lighter that's used to light BBQ grills is recommended for safety) and makes lighting the heater easy. We do pop-up shops during the winter season, so this heater will be very usefull. We plan to use it for a full day very soon, and we'll update the review as needed.Update:We used the heater during 30-degree temps without a tent, and it exceeded our expectations. It gets hot instantly and lights very easily. With 3 temp settings, the low setting was used most of the day, and we kept at least 2 feet away due to the amount of heat that it generated. After sunset it got colder, so we turned the temp setting to medium and we were nice and toasty, and this was still without a tent.Conclusion: If you need an outdoor heat source that attaches to a propane tank, and generates a tremendous amount of heat, then don't hesitate to buy this unit. You'll be very happy you did!

I have this portable heater from the garage heats well works well. The only problem I’ve had with it is that the tilt sensor stopped working and it won’t let the heater light at all but it still works replaced it seems to be fine. Guess the garage up to 75 to 80° if I let it. Also tilts, which is very nice. I’m in Canada so if you can find a seller in Canada buy from Canada, do not buy it from the US because there’s a lot of duty and taxes and hassles to come from the states toCanada.

This heater is very well made and heavy duty. Can see it right away and can feel it with the weight and how solid it is. Instructions were good, set up was easy. The very first time you light it does take some time. Similar to a mantle on a lantern. You have to keep the gas realease button pressed, until most of the mantle?/screen? turns bright red. If you release it before that mantle is red, the flame will go out. Mine took several minutes before most of the mantle was red and I could let go of the gas release button and the flame would stay on. Once you have done this the very first time, then you can light it every other time in just a few seconds. Was using this by the Beach in North Carolina in December. Sitting on a deck with chairs all around it about 5 ft away from it. Could feel the heat, but not exactly warm. Ended up having to tilt the head about 45 degrees and pointing it towards the chairs and was much better. Most of the heat seems to radiate from the top. Can feel it from the sides, but the main heat shoots straight up. I think this would really benefit from a reflector plate on the top like those big stand up propane heaters have to push the heat back down and towards the sides. Going to see if I can find a used one somewhere and build my own heat reflector for it. But angling the heater and pointing it works pretty well. Definitely hot, but I think some folks exaggerated a little bit on their reviews of the heat being so intense they had to put on low. But overall, I think this is one of the best heaters you can get. The quality is there and the heat is there based on the BTU output.

Okay, first time writing a review ever..I can't say enough about Mr Heater. It is easy to set up and the ability to just take it off of the propane tank is unbelievable. No need to figure out where and how to store and move and cover one if those other tall heaters. This one hits the spot. Done for the season? Just detach and store in the garage on a hook or something. Use the tank for the BBQ etc.Mr Heater puts out some serious heat. Sitting outside, you are nice and cozy. And the adjustable directional head makes it nice to be able to direct the heat where you need it. Low, Medium and High are awesome for setting that perfect level of comfort.Mr Heater has allowed friends to extend their stay outside in comfort and companionship.It so terrific that I had to purchase two for buddies as gifts and the Father-in-law bought two for himself.Just remember, safety first when using. Not too close.Also, best to not leave outside in the elements too long after use.All in all, one one of the best purchases I've made.Who's next on my X-mas list?

It’s awesome middle of winter heats my two car garage to the point that I have to open the door. Doesn’t burn a stupid amount of propane either. Buddy of mine has the same one witch is why I bought it. You won’t be disappointed
