Perfect for a tent, small camper or deer blind. Compact, will fit in a small backpack. Pretty good run time on a 1# propane bottle. Only thing, I wish the heat was adjustable. It’s off or on. Would be nice to have a lower heat setting.

This is a good indoor or outdoor heater. I use the small gas containers that are easy to transport. It is just what I wanted. I will take it camping and also use it in the garage or bedroom.

We have used it in our rv several times and really liked the heat it provided….with no adverse affects to us. Very handy to have if major heating goes out or weather dips to freezing temps.

So we have used this a couple of time and really like how much heat it puts out it good and sturdy just have to put screw it to your tank it’s so nice to have a start button makes it nice you done have to carry a lighter really didn’t notice a propane smell like you have either others

I tried to post a video of the unit but these file outputs just won't let me....however, it would show how the flame is a nice blue constant pilot light that when it ignites the ceramic is nice and even. The heat output comfortably works very nice for a 4 person tent. I use it also in my basement and while the basement part is 600 sq ft I keep it near my couch as I watch TV and it keeps me warm. The length of burn is around 5 hrs. and I use a re-fillable tank that I fill using a 20lb tank, I get more use this way rather than buy individual coleman tanks. Being in the 20's, it keeps the tent nice and warm.

Full disclosure: I haven't had the chance to use this heater in the field (van camper) yet, but will be using it over the next few weeks (thus only 4 stars for now). I'm writing this review anyway because there seems to be much confusion around this product.Issue #1: Multiple reviews I read indicated this item does not work with Coleman propane cannisters. Because of this, I ordered Bernzomatic cannisters from Amazon - at double the price! - only to learn they won't arrive in time for my upcoming trip after all. So, not one to be defeated, I headed to my local Walmart and grabbed a 4-pack of the Coleman cannisters to try. And guess what? I am able to use them just fine! They fit into the heater base easily, and it does not feel unstable at all. There is a soft plastic "boot" on the Coleman cannister - presumably to allow it to stand on its own in other applications - but it can be removed if you're having issues getting the cannister into the Buddy base. As noted, the Coleman are significantly less expensive than other brands, so knowing this is a workable option will hopefully help you.Issue #2: When I opened my box today and took the pieces out, I heard what sounded like a ball/bearing rolling around in the heater unit: oh, no! I immediately assumed the worst, came to Amazon to ask the question, and read many answers where users experienced the same thing. Most responses indicated returning the heater immediately, with no indication that it was ever tested. ONE user explained that the noise is the safety mechanism that turns the unit off if tipped: well that gave me hope! I finally looked at the instructions (which I hadn't even done yet, cuz you know, who needs instructions?) and there's a page stapled to the front of the instruction booklet that specifically explains this!Again, I haven't field-tested the unit yet, but did try it here at the house, and it definitely started producing heat pretty quickly - so it seems to be working. I will try to upload some pics and will update my review after traveling with the heater. BTW, I ordered a "used - very good" version to save some money, and while the original box was somewhat damaged, the parts inside were in perfect condition!As of now, I would definitely recommend this heater!Thanks for reading this far - hope it was helpful!

I purchased a new Little Buddy heater from Amazon based primarily on the number of positive reviews. After repeatedly attempting to light the heater per instructions, the pilot light on my heater fails to ignite.Believing it could possibly be an issue with the LP gas cylinders, I tried five different Coleman 16oz cylinders with the same result. The heater cannot light and is useless. AND AMAZON DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON THIS ITEM.The Little Buddy is supposed to be covered by a 3-year warranty. I contacted Enerco Group/Mr Heater in hopes of exchanging the faulty heater for a new working heater. After explaining the problem, the female customer service agent stated that the heater likely had a faulty Off Switch or Tip Over Switch, but they couldn’t take the consumer’s word that the heater was defective. She said they would not exchange it, and definitely would not exchange a product purchased on Amazon. She suggested I take the heater apart, pull the wires from the switches, and bypass the switches with a paper clip to possibly make the heater work. When asked, she refused to give me her name.In conclusion, I threw $67 away on a non-working, garbage product that neither Amazon nor the heater’s manufacturer - Enerco Group/Mr. Heater - will exchange or make right.

Easy to light was the selling factor for me. Propane tanks with the plastic on the bottoms doesn't seem to work well, too tight. I use Coleman with the metal bottoms or I just remove the plastic from them. I make the base more stable by adding some 1/8 inch stretch cords to hold the tank steady. You can see how on Youtube/Snowys Outdoors channel. I believe in Australia it comes with stretch cords. I refill my tanks at about $.75 each. It keeps my small office nice and warm. I can't say anything negative about this product. It works great for me.

Si calienta, pero esta diseñado para casas de campaña, no esperes que caliente una habitación, en ese caso busca Mr. Heater Buddy, es el tamaño que sigue y ese si que calienta una habitación de 6x6m sin problemas.En lo que respecta a seguridad se saca un 10, sensor de co2 y sensor de inclinación lo hacen la mejor opción para el manejo más seguro.
