this blower never worked on automatic, had to leave on manuel, it just stopped working, had to purchased one for Mr. heater, still waiting on it to be installed

I waited over 6 months to do this review to make sure it stayed as a functional device through the winter and it has worked wonderfully. The application was in upstate PA about 120 miles east of Erie for climate questions (some lake effect).This is listed with the model heater my mother has (Comfort Glow). I chose it because it looked the most like her units one which had burned out after 30 yrs. Once received, size wise it was almost identical, I was able to swap the case with the fan setup. I just had to drill a couple of holes for mounting alignment and splice the wiring into the existing toggle setup (used the new plug setup). It is very quiet on low speed, but the fan noise is noticeable though not irritating on high speed.As long as the person doing this is mechanically/electrically capable, I can recommend this, it's basic level stuff. It's just a little time consuming doing the modifications properly and half that is breaking down the existing unit and testing fitment ...and undoing and testing fitment etc...I had also did the gas pilot feed, so I was into this for the whole kitty.Replacing both these parts of the unit has made it a very reliable consistent device again and her electric bill has come down as well.

The sound level of this fan is high considering what it is and what it is suppose to do. I was surprised how loud it is. The fan does what it is suppose to do. The installation is simple, but I would buy another fan that is outside of the heater and mows the air instead.
