During in and out repair of heating system we added this unit. A game changer! We use it almost exclusively despite the repairs being completed. We attached to a 40lb tank (easy to move/service) but a hard-line, or a 100, etc would work in a 1000sq ft space.

The furnace went out and I installed this as a backup heat source. Hooked it up to the main propane tank. Costs less than 50 cents per hour to run at full capacity, but you don't need that. 1100 sq ft is toasty at setting 2.

i have problems with the battery powered sparker that lights the pilot light at 7 years old. theres no way to light it with a match or lighter. so it will have to be repaired or replaced at 7 years. i only burn about 400 gallons a year since i live in a mild winter area. im old 61 and am used to having a gas space heater last for decades. those days are long gone im afraid. its light and made with very flimsy metal. its attractive enough. i bought the blower fan feature and the floor feet feature. i highly recommend getting the blower fan add on feature i feel that it makes it much more efficient and heats more area.

Easy to install. Easy access to control knob. Plenty of heat output for my shop.

I love this. No problems. But no glass on front so may not be good with small children. It's quieter than my last one and it's built sturdy. Great for its price.

This thing blew me away with how good it is. I generally don’t write reviews on Amazon, but this thing deserves it. The level of heat output is insane. It makes my electric heaters just look like actual trash in comparison. At first I was very skeptical because of some of the other negative reviews, but I suspect (obviously no way of knowing) that they didn’t use the appropriate propane regulator and attachments. Additionally, proper usage of insulation tape is a must. As long as you set it up correctly and safely you should be fine.Obviously don’t leave it running unattended. It’s still an open flame. Use common sense. It EASILY warms my entire house (~1000 sqft) to 70 degrees despite it being 20 degrees outside (and my house has crap level of insulation).Worth every penny to buy it and the associated stuff to get it running properly and safely.

I ordered this heater to assist as back up heat and help out on this extremely cold winter so far. I was so surprised when the seller got the heater to me by the very next day. I don't think I've received something that was desperately needed that fast ever. Quality & performance is top notch and was a breeze to set up. Thank you so much for great customer service! 😊

It's 4:13 AM Sunday, I can't sleep. My Mr. Heater Corporation F299830 Vent-Free 30,000 BTU Radiant Propane Heater just woke me up. It's my fault, I thought a bomb or grenade went off a few feet away and it scared the "you know" out of me. I should have expected it. The first one I bought did the same thing. The company replaced it and the replacement has done the same thing prior to tonight, but it was during the daytime so I just sprang to the heater and turned it off. In the dark of night and having been sound asleep the trip to the heater took longer and my wits were not as quickly and easily accessed. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times ain't gonna happen. I will request a quick and full return of my money not well spent. If not, they will hear from me again, and again, and again.Stoopid me. I didn't take proper consideration of previous product headlines:Loud popping/banging noisesBeware of the fire hazard it can causeYour heater tried to kill my familyPiece of junk don't buy it!Very dangerous.Bad seller. Sends defective products.Loud and dangerousMalfunctions and flames come out the top!Do not buy this heaterPrepare to be gassedREAD ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND THE DETAILS THEREIN, and believe them. I didn't. Woe is me. Like I said, it's my fault for being a fool. Good night all, well, tomorrow night, I hope.......The Operating Instructions and Owner's Manual has a black banner across the top of EVERY page that says: NEVER LEAVE THE HEATER UNATTENDED WHILE BURNING. Huh? Now how is that possible? I have a life that requires my presence in other areas, like work or in the kitchen or bathroom. Oh, I wonder if they did that so they aren't legally liable for damages when there is a fire caused by their heater when you ain't there with it.Customer service is terrible, after I asked for a refund they ignore my emails and phone calls. They have my money and they won't give it back for a DANGEROUS product they won't stand behind. What does that tell you?Update: "Unfortunately a refund is not possible."
