I have been doing water color for a few years now- most of the paints I would get would be from your average Walmart which I would end up paying $30 for- let me TELL you- THIS TRAVEL WATER COLOR SET HAS THE BRIGHTEST, AND MOST CLEANEST PIGMENT I HAVE **EVER** SEEN IN MY LIFE. EVEN THE FREAKING NEON COLORS ARE BRIGHT (except neon red- its still bright tho so 7/10) OVERALL THE SET IS A 10/10 AND I USUALLY ONLY DO 9/10 FOR STUFF. DEF BUY THIS BRO TRUST.

These paints worked so much better than expected. Rich color for a less expensive set of watercolor paints. Better than beginner paint

A watercolor set that will make everyone from novice to artist happy. At least, it has in our house. Would recommend - nice quality, enough range in colors to not worry about mixing, and not expensive.

Loved that an.7mm automatic pencil with lead. Has 9 decent metallic colors. The standard colors were fairly transparent for novices like me. There are six neon colors which I will not use. It comes with plastic mixing well palette. You can also remove the neon pans. The brushes are more for swatch than using watercolor per se, but they work in a pinch., you can swap them out for your own brushes. You can also remove the plastic casing where the pencil, etc are in and put your own supplies plus the palette.Very pleased indeed

I wanted to do water color painting, something new to me. As an adult I wanted a paint set that had colors that would appeal to me and get me inspired to paint. I found these and could not be happier. The kit contains a wonderful selection of colors and now that I have been using it for several weeks, I can say that the paint in great quality. You will want good paper to really make your work shine. But this paint set is all I could want and more.

I love this set of 24 metallic watercolours so much that I recommended this set to my artist friends! The pans are larger than other brands of metallic watercolours I bought and they can be taken out of the set so you can have the individual colour by itself to work with. I really appreciate the fact that there are both blank white and black colour charts to fill in with the paints to see how each colour interacts on both white and black paper. Any art supply that supplies a blank colour chart or colour charts will get a great rating from me. I have tried these metallic watercolours on all kinds of paper and they are so wonderful! I definitely would buy them again. The price is really great, not too expensive in my opinion and they go a long way. I buy a lot of art supplies so I test all art supplies I buy extensively to find out what I like and don’t like before doing any reviews. I don’t do reviews often because I find that there are a lot of art supplies out there that just don’t do what they are supposed to. With these metallic watercolours, I don’t have anything negative to say about them. I LOVE them! The colours are fantastic! If you want a great sparkly watercolour paint that is reasonably priced and lasts a long time, this is the product for you!

These watercolors have a beautiful sparkle to them. You don’t need much to cover a significant space. The actual colors are deep.

I did 2 swatches - one in my art journal (standard weight cartridge paper) and the swatch paper provided in the kit. The neons aren't bad but they are not so bright that they are in-your-face. I find that Neon Blue and Green are lacking but I'm satisfied with the neon yellow, pink, and red. Some of the colours were more pigmented than others (Sienna, Brown Ochre, Phthalo Blue, Deep Purple, Violet, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, and Black). The yellow and orange hues, as well as Olive Green, were not very pigmented. The metallics have a nice sheen to them, but I was hoping for a stronger pigment. All of the colours seem to flow really nicely and easily on paper. You also don't see the brush or water marks. This set is a good complement palette (esp for metallics and neons) to what I already own. I can also see myself using this as my new everyday watercolor set, since I find it to flow better. My other budget-friendly watercolor sets (Meiliang and Nicpro) were stronger in the yellow and orange hues, but lacked in what this kit did really well on: purples, browns and blues. I really like the click closure on the case. Primarily bought this for the neon watercolour and it being about $29 for 51 colours and extra brushes and pencils - not a bad value. Overall quite satisfied with the purchase. The 4/5 is due to the lack of pigmentation for some of the colours - but it's more of a 4.5/5, except that's not an option on Amazon.

The MozArt metallic watercolor set is (almost) everything I ever wanted. Here's the one and only reason I would purchase something else, and in fact why I'm getting my mother a different set: it needs a white, a "true" or dark green, and a brown. I'm on the hunt for these colors, and it would cost less to purchase a set that already has them. Now for the upsides: the shine and pigment is absurdly rich and wonderful. It's fairly opaque. It's easy to use. The metal tin is nice, and a nice size. The black AND white labelled swatch sheets included were a thoughtful touch. Here's some nit-picking. It almost feels absurd to mention these, and it wouldn't dissuade me from buying it again. The pans themselves are difficult to pop into & out of the plastic base. This won't be a problem for most people, but could prove frustrating if you like to re-arrange palettes. While I was trying to seat some a little more firmly, I pressed on the dry silver paint block and it shattered! There was a large bubble underneath. Some gentle prodding of the other pans didn't reveal the same issue, so I think it's just a defect, not an insidious plot to reduce product.

I thought I'd get these just because they were so affordable compared with some of the more well known brands, and I wanted something I could use in my journal.I am so pleasantly surprised by how well these work - they're lovely and pigmented and can produce beautiful paintings with. They're a bit chalkier than other watercolours, and definitely are slightly different to professional quality ones, however, they're perfect for experimenting with and having fun with!EDIT: I wanted to update my review to reiterate that these don't behave like normal watercolour paints, and the chalky texture means they do not blend together easily. After using them for a few months, I've now decided that I'm going to have to buy a better set of paints, so it might be good to question whether you'll need to do the same before ordering. They are, however, a really nice set and I have enjoyed using them.

Wow, these are just gorgeous! These are beautiful and go down like Wink Of Stella. Very shimmery metallic. The price is very good and unbelievable for what you get. The pans are large, completely full and will go a long way and they pop out of the case. The color names are kinda wonky but you get both black and white DIY swatches with the names and correspond with the paint pan placement in the case so you can see exactly how the colors look on paper. The case is a very sturdy metal. This is a good choice for anyone wanting beautiful shimmery watercolors. I just bought this today but I can see that I am going to use it alot so I'm going to buy another set right away just to make sure when I run out, I can still have some.
