Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I am not pro videographer. I just like making videos of nature, outdoor activities, backyard animals, etc. I am using Lumix G-85. One of my biggest challenges always is wind noise. I avoided making videos on windy days. This all changed when I got the MOVO VXR 10-PRO. With the fur cover on the mic my videos become pleasant to watch. It does a really good job eliminating the howling sound of the wind. When recording people speaking, I found that conversation can sound OK all the up to 14 -15 feet. from about 2 - 3 feet sounds very good for the level of the total cost of the equipment. Also, mic has body made from metal, which makes it more durable. Which brings me to portability of the mic. Small, no need for batteries, perfect fit for my camera bag. It is perfect mic for someone like me, looking for substantial improvement in sound quality with low investment in the cost and no compromise in portability.

This Movo VXR10-PRO External Video Microphone works reasonably well. I used it to record an outdoor soccer game in late October. The wind was blowing quite badly, but not much noise in the video. It was able to pick up player's voices, though bits of a nearby people's conversation as well (hence not entirely directional, but this is understandable). The overall sound quality is decent. But it has a few design flaws that really gets into the way of use it:1. the clip is super tight and difficult to attach the mic to it. This was mentioned in a few other reviews too. But I did not realize how HARD it can be until I got it into my hands. It was even challenging to attach the mic. I spent 10 minutes doing it. Finally got lucky and got it attached. I won't probably dissemble it in the future and just leave it be.2. The cable connector and the butt of the mic stick out too much to the rear. You can see it from the side view of my camera. When I put my head to camera's view finder, the cable connector is basically touching my forehead. It becomes uncomfortable.3. The furry windscreen is terrible! It is way too big and when it is put on, it's dangling loosely over the mic. If I tilt the camera 45-deg downward, it will come off and fall. It's almost like a small man wearing a XL t-shirt. It is simply useless. All in all, this is a decent shotgun microphone if you don't mind the flaws.

Such a good mic, I use this on my Sony ZVE10. Clean low end and great for male female vocals. Highly recommended.. good clean sound, low noise floor. Thought it might be bad for sybalance but, I don't have a problem nore does it peak haphazardly .. all in all it's a great mic for the price..

I love that this is so compact yet delivers such quality sound.Attaching the mic into the cradle is a bit challenging, because it fits TIGHTLY into the cradle for security. Once you get it popped into place, I recommend keeping it there. It comes with a foam windscreen as well as a furry one that goes over the foam one, so you can shoot in even super windy conditions without a bunch of distortion. There are two different cables that come with the mic so it will be compatible with a wide range of products. I enjoy the on mic headphone jack to monitor audio. When you are done you can pack it back up in the included hard case with molded foam inserts for transport protection. This mic is half the price of its main competitor yet the quality is on par with the best. Save your money and invest in Movo!

I have been using this mic for more than a year and it is amazing. It produces little noise and has lasted me through many projects. It sits nice and stable on top of my dslr. The mount is metal and plastic and the mic is metal, it feels really high quality and has a slight heft. I love the little case it comes in and it has both a mic to dslr and mic to phone cable. All the accessories provided are great. Movo makes really reliable mics. What I also like about this mic is that it provides really solid performance from far away but also close to the camera, usually my subjects are a little bit further away and this produces a nice clear professional sound with very little noise. Just get this mic.

Is it worth it? Yes. Feels solid and not cheap, and performs well if you place it correctly. On YouTube when reviewers did tests vs the Rode video mic (2x the price!) I often preferred the sound of the Movo… felt a little warmer. Obviously it won’t beat out a $250 mic (Rode has mics from $100 and up), but under that budget, this is the best mic for video HANDS DOWN.I got a bundle which came with a bunch of cheap accessories some of which were non functioning out of the box (the 20’ cable being the most disappointing). However, I think the bundle was still only like $50 or 60, and this mic is WELL worth it.It came with a case that holds the mic, the shock mount, the dead cat style wind screen, and a normal blow guard (black foam windscreen), as well as a few different cables and a usb thumb drive interface. My first use was somewhat disappointing, the audio I recorded didn’t sound that much better than the audio my DSLR picks up on its own (or so I thought). But that was recording a band in a rehearsal space that wasn’t acoustically treated and not ideal. I WAS able to edit the audio and get something useable, but I just wasn’t impressed. However subsequent uses have impressed me more and more. I shot that same band doing a live show and had a Tascam DR40x recording in the back of the room, but I used this on my camera as back up audio. I’m so glad I did because my recorder filled up its memory card before the last 2 songs, and this on camera mic saved me. The audio was good enough that both myself and the band found it acceptable (not as good as the recorder audio, but that’s a location issue). This Movo Mic handled peaking really well, where being so close a few times the levels clipped… but in the final edit you can’t even really tell. If the camera were stationary it would’ve had consistent and crisp audio. Because I was moving around, the audio was crisp but you get a little more of whatever you’re pointing at (bass, guitar, drums etc). And the shock mount does it’s job perfectly, ZERO noise from me moving around A LOT.I would absolutely recommend this mic to anyone, both for dialogue and music video needs.
