I direct and edit commercials. My audio system for my set up was recently upgraded with a Schiit Audio preamplifier and amplifier. Those are hooked into my Hsu Research bookshelf speakers and a Rogersound Labs subwoofer.I needed speaker stands to separate my bookshelf speakers. Due to the design of the speakers, their tweeters needed to be at my ear level. The Mountup Universal Speaker Stands are at the perfect height. The result of placing my speakers this way is coherent sound. The stands are fairly easy to assemble and are solid enough to place on the carpet in my office.

I almost never leave a review. This time though I'm making an exception. Package was well insulated and arrived in a timely fashion. The stands are well constructed, fit and finish is excellent. Instructions for assembly were, for once, easy and precise to follow. The product pictures don't do these stands justice as they really do look good once assembled. Also the interchangeable foot adapters for carpet or hardwood flooring is a nice touch. The stability and ear height level for surround speakers is also great.

These stands are fantastic! Right out of the box I could see that these things were well made and very sturdy. The base was not only heavy, but very attractive as well. It was like steel with a glass top. They were definitely better than I expected. The rubber lined speaker wire hole was a nice touch as well. Perfect for a solid bookshelf speaker. The top even comes with nice rubber pads to keep your speaker in place and to keep scratches from occurring. Very nice product. I would highly recommend.

I bought these stands to hold Sony SSCS5 speakers. The base has a glass-like finish and really adds a touch of class to the stands. Very easy to assemble. I contacted their customer support for an issue that I caused and they were very responsive. I would definitely buy these stands again.

Nicely packaged, quite easy to assemble. One tip- make sure the top of the stand is straight before you completely tighten the screws. If you notice it's crooked it's easy to just slightly loosen the screws and adjust it and then re-tighten them.Stands are stable and have a sleek, modern look. Nice matte black with a glossy bottom plate. I think they are a great product for the price.

Does what it says, says what it is - a pair of bookshelf speaker stands. Well built, good, solid materials (steel tubing, not aluminum, verified with a magnet). Uses an Allen key for all the bolts/screws so you can get some good torque. Fits my Rokit KRK 5 speakers perfectly. Comes with adjustable rubber (floor) and metal "spike" (carpet) feet. Zero wobble for me, so I didn't need to adjust, but the option is there. Packaging is excellent too - everything is protected with plastic, paper and/or foam to make sure none of the paint is scratched. You can also run cabling up/down the tube - loads of room for power, XLR or 1/4", speaker cabling, etc.In the spirit of always trying to improve a product, though, I'll leave two nit-picks (which do not detract from the overall great quality of the product)- The instructions tell you to bolt the top plate on last, but that means you need to either lay the stand on its side or on your lap, or bolt it on upside down which is super awkward. It makes a lot more sense to me to bolt the top plate on *before* screwing both halves of the stand together; in fact, I did that for the second stand and it took me a quarter of the amount of time.- The hardware kit comes with one extra long bolt and one extra small screw, but no extra medium size bolts and no extra metal or plastic washers. Feels like you should be consistent with your packaging; provide extra pieces for everything, or don't provide extras. That, or you've got a QA problem that you might want to address! (note that I didn't have to use the spare bits provided, everything was good first try)All in all, I recommend this product!

I will say that the company who made this product thought of nearly everything. To keep the stand from slipping on the floor you can put the little rubber feet for hardwood, which is what I have, or you can use the little spikes for carpet. The company also included little rubber circles to put between the speaker and the stand so the speaker won’t slip off the pedestal. The pole has a cut out where you can feed the speaker wire down so you can’t see it AND the base has a small space between the floor and the base so you can hide the wires even more. This product was easy to put together and they look really nice. I’m really happy with this purchase and I’d buy them again if I needed another set of stands. I accidentally ordered two boxes because I thought one box was for only for one stand. Since I didn’t need the extra two, I returned them. The return process was incredibly easy and fast. The only thing I can suggest to make this product a little better is having the ability to adjust the pole height to make it a little higher so the bottom of my speakers are above my couch. If you’re interested in this product be sure to measure the area you want to use the stands because you cannot adjust the height.Overall, I love these stands because they are sleek, help to hide wiring, are quite sturdy, and fit my decor nicely.

I'm very happy with the purchase. It took about an hour to assemble and at first one of the stand's tops was out of alignment (Similar to other complaints). However I managed to adjust the pole on the base slightly and adjust the top to align (The holes are cut to allow movement clockwise and anti-clockwise). It required holding in position while tightening the screws but I managed to correct the slight skew. It does take a little effort to get the right position to insert and drive the screws but it's worth it for the result. The height is just right and the cable management is well designed to allow easy access to the speaker plug. The top has a matt finish so I haven't had to use the Anti-slip Pads yet. I recommend this product.
