From the pictures, I thought the stands would be matte black metal. It turns out that the base and speaker platform are thick glass. Very sleek and modern looking. I was happily surprised by the overall look and quality.

Stands were easy to put together and seem well built. Only issue was I was missing one of the adhesive stickers that was in a sealed bag. Called customer service after sending an email and they responded by end of the day with a tracking number for the replacement part. Overall very pleased.

Well-packaged in compact box to minimize chances of damage; sturdy and attractive black glass (glass appearing) base and top; easy to run multiple cables through the metal stem for a less-cluttered look; assembly was easy; can add the included rubber floor protectors or metal spikes depending on your floor type. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are solid speaker stands for a reasonable price. They are nice and heavy and should work well for most bookshelf speakers.
