The mounting brackets themselves feel quality made. They're definitely going to hold up. The included adhesive padding insures you won't have any rattles. The mount is easy to assemble and easy to install. Don't have to take your TV off the wall if you don't want to. Does the trick just like it should and it looks great doing it!

Pros: connects to the wall mount frame with stand offs well enough. Cable management is good up the back of the mounts. Looks nice.Cons: hard to secure so they do not move. They kinda swing freely. If your soundbar HDMI cables come out where the bar sits on the stand it’s harder to cable manage. You will have to use custom HDMI cables that can bend. If you have a LG soundbar the cut outs under the soundbar could line up where it sits on the mounts making the soundbar lean back. I have an LG soundbar and it did not look good on the bar. The Hisense bar fits much better.Overall it is fine but be careful what soundbar you want to use with it.

This was a perfect purchase. This mount was used to attach a tabletop Vizio 2.1 all in one speaker to a Vizio 43" tv. I hung the speaker below the tv. The versatile clamping mechanism allowed a tabletop speaker to mount below, with no problem whatsoever. The TV is mounted to the wall using a Mount-it swivel. I removed the TV from the mount, then removed the plate from the TV. I placed the soundbar brackets on TV, then placed the mount-it plate on top of bracket and screwed into the TV existing vesa screw holes on TV.Easy Peasy. (Soundbar bracket mount kit had all the hardware I needed including longer screws to accommodate the spacing increase due to brackets) The clamping feet of the mount allow placing of a soundbar as wide as 6.1 inches, which worked well for me, because my soundbar was kinda wide(5.5").Bottom line: Everything worked excellent. I was very pleased.

I got a cheap, articulated wall-mount (Pipishell) to put my old LG Electronics 55UH8500 on the wall in my bedroom. I then got the Mount-It! Soundbar Mount to hang my Denon DHT-S517 Sound Bar beneath it. The installation went smoothly, mostly because the installation of the Mount-It! did not require me to unmount the TV. Instead, I was able to just unscrew the bottom VESA screw on one side, add the bracket, and re-screw the combined brackets to the same VESA screw. Then, I did it on the other side. The kit comes with longer screws to accommodate the increased depth, and the spacers I used to mount my TV to the wall-mount included an anti-slip mechanism that keeps the spacers from sliding down the thread. Total installation time was about 5 minutes, and I wasn't in a hurry.I would think that these types of mounts are largely a commodity, but what separates the Mount-It! bracket for me is the finishing touches. With a TV mount, it largely doesn't matter how the thing looks, because the TV obstructs the view of the mount. However, in this case, there are elements of the soundbar mount that you can easily see. The front and bottom of the brackets are finished pretty nicely. For example, you don't see exposed nuts or bolts - instead, the handscrew is tucked neatly away, at the back of the assembly. Similarly, the mount includes valence plates that cover the bracket faces. While I don't love the "Mount-It!" branding on one of the plates, they are certainly nicer than looking at stamped metal profiles. At about $28 (with 5% off coupon, at the time of this review), this bracket is a great value. Highly Recommended
