What I received does not look like what is advertised. The hole with the two "slots" is way too small. Will not fit a standard pole. Might not fit any pole. Returning them.

Needed larger baskets for my Mountainsmith trekking poles because I snowshoe and hike hills in the winter. These went on easily and have so far worked great. I was afraid at cold temps (around 0) that they might be a little brittle, but not the case. I was happy to be able to buy them without buying a new set of poles.

I haven't actually used these yet, but am planning to take theme to Great Bear Wilderness in Montana. I recently bought a pair of MSR Talus TR2 poles, and soon after realized that MSR snow baskets and powder baskets are no longer made and are not available anywhere online. These were the only pair of snow baskets I could find that seemed like they might work for my MSR poles. When they arrived, they fit about halfway onto the bottom of the poles. So I boiled them in some water, and they easily slid on the rest of the way. Assuming they don't break or fall off on the trails, I couldn't be happier with them.
