This little train is great! It has plenty of power. Easy to use for toddler. Sounds and lights add to the fun! It goes great on the wooden tracks and pretty much on any surface.

I bought this little train attachment for my niece and nephews and they absolutely love it! I will say the only drawback is if you purchase the remote control train, make sure you aim the remote directly at the train to switch the directions it moves. If not, the remote won't work well. Other than that, the kids will love this and be entertained for hours! 10/10 would recommend for toddlers that love trains

I ignored the negative reviews concerning the uselessness of the remote and sound functionality. But they were all justified. No matter how we tried, the remote would not pair with the train so that function never worked. Since I bought this train specifically for the remote & sound, it was a big disappointment. The train is cute and functional otherwise but don’t waste your money to pay more for the one with the remote!

Got this train as an addition to an array of Thomas the Tank Engine trains for a 4 year old. After installing the batteries, did some testing. The train works great, has plenty of power to pull or push extra cars and to climb bridges. The remote control unit works intermittently and can get very frustrating to use, especially for a 4 year old (an adult loses their patience using the remote as well). After setting aside the remote, many hours of fun was enjoyed minus being able to blow the horn, switch the light off and on, and having to control the train with the buttons on the engine.A set of AAA batteries lasted 5 days @ 5 to 6 hours a day operation pulling up to 7 additional cars, not bad.Bottom line, it was a big hit even without using the remote control unit.
