Perfect for 1-3 year olds. The lift is a little frustrating for them though, but it’s nice to not have track parts all strewn about.

Got this for my two year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it. Loves Thomas!! That's all that matters to me. My only minor negatives...only comes with one train, and one car...that does not attach to train well. This second piece serves little purpose, and has to be removed to send train down the elevator. Also...not extremely simple to assemble. Directions could be a little clearer. Overall...great to for kids.

Absolutely the worst train play set imaginable!Two levels of play that are poorly designed for even one child. The elevator is cute. The gears do nothing and aren’t well thought out as shape sorting. The children (17months & 15 months) played with it a total of less than 30 minutes over two days. It’s sitting untouched. May return or donate.

The set was easy to snap together and feels solid. My 18 month old was attracted to it right away. He enjoys putting Thomas in the engine house and placing cars on the track. I can see us buying him more trains to play with the set as he grows to learn how to play trains.

Great little toy but the part that drops from top to the bottom does not go all the way. Not sure if it is meant to do that but thought it should drop all the way.Very colorful, strong plastic and happy it is not electronic which allows for more imagination when playing.
