This is a decent phone holder so lets get over my thoughts on it.1. Its pretty easy to install, its not as easy as the purely clamp style ones but its also not as bad as the ones that require you to struggle with a bracket and screws.2. The mechinism to secure the phone is easy to use, if you have a taller phone the sun blocker can get in the way but for most people it will not be a big deal.3. The sun blocker feature is a good concept but its limited, during the morning and evenings when the sun is lower it works great, if your riding from 11am to 3pm when the sun is more overhead it really doesn't do much and just tilting your phone down a bit does a better job so to me its more of a gimmick.

The best part of the mount is the handlebar attachment. This is very solid and robust and feels very well made. The ball mounts are also okay but wish it had slightly larger balls like RAM mounts or was RAM mount compatible. The holder itself has a positive lock on it and you are confident it will hold the phone in place, however, this part is plastic and feels less sturdy than the rest of the mount. Very flexible with the rotating ball setup. For the price this is a pretty good value and would recommend.
