It's seems like a good deturant. Easy to use once you figure out the best steps. Not great foe bar end mirrors because your helmet will just hang there. Still works well though.

I like the convenience and security aspect of the device and the ease of use… I watched a 900 pound Honda Goldwing get rolled off by 3 thieves in the evening of the day.So I am so happy to have it now.

It works but can be hard to get locked really hard to use on the brake side and if u don't push it down all the way the lock pops out I would not recommend this to anyone

I liked the idea of this product since it appears to be more secure than some other alternatives for ensuring my helmet isn't likely to be stolen when left with my bike. I also like that to some extent it provides some theft security for the bike as well since it disables the utility of either the hand brake or clutch depending on which side you attach to.Out of box I followed the instructions and watched the videos on how the cable portion of the lock is supposed to insert into the heavy locking portion. I've very certain I understood and attempted to attach the cable properly. The groove where the table inserts was just not wide enough to allow the cable to be placed within it. You are supposed to place the round end in first, then lay the cable across the groove so that it slides in before closing the locking portion. The groove is too narrow or the cable end too thick.I was able to get the cable connected to the locking portion by using a metal file to increase the width of the groove. It took quite a bit of work as the locking portion is hard heavy metal. Eventually I was able to get it to work.As noted in other reviews, the pads provided, while useful have very cheap and not very sticky tape on the back side. I ended up using rubber cement to ensure the rubber pads stay in place.Also, the lock is bulky so you will need a place to store or carry it when you are riding.Overall, the lock seems that it will serve the purpose for which I bought it, however, I wouldn't recommended it to anyone. The product should be as described and work without any modification, and in this case it doesn't meet either of those requirements.

My bike has a lock but the way it sits I could sctach my $1000 helmet! Also someone could just cut the chin strap, replace it and they have a new helmet. This lock cable goes inside the helmet and around the lower half of your chin protection. Someone would have to destroy the helmet to remove it and then what's the point? This device not only secures your helmet but also locks your brake in so it also protects your bike too! Great device! Heavy duty!

I am always terrified of parking my Grom somewhere only to find it missing later on. It also gets old taking my helmet with me everywhere I go. This little lock device helps with both of those issues. While it may not deter a properly determined individual, this lock will hopefully make would-be thieves think twice. A little added peace of mind never hurts.

Great lock system to protect your moped from thievesIt works great and super easy to use too.The product is sturdy and hard to break.I have a regular chain lock and adding this brake lock, it makes more difficult for thieves. :)
